Holiday Inn Express and Suites Muncie Northwest by IHG

I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked this hotel (I am a lifelong Marriott person)! I believe it’s a newer hotel & very clean. Our room was spacious. The staff was so nice!!! I had 2 separate reservations for 2 consecutive nights & was afraid it would be a hassle to stay in the same room, but it was seamless!

This hotel, has ample parking for a truck and trailer. Extremely clean rooms, comfortable beds, and easy to assess. Having a picky toddler can be difficult, but they have so many options for breakfast!

The place was nice and clean. The only complaint would be that there were not any extra pillows in the room.

Had booked, paid, confirmed, night of, got call, they overbooked and said sorry no rooms, no compensation, nothing, just sorry about your luck, terrible experience, would not recommend

We were in Muncie for a Ball State University dinner and meeting. I had my 85 year old mother with me and needed an accessible room. I booked here based on the availability of the accessible room and the room decor. It was blues and grays. I looked at other rooms in the area and at least one was down right ugly and another had an orange wall, which my mother would have hated. She DID comment on how the room was soothing (blues and grays), I told her picked this room specifically because I thought she would approve.

Brand new hotel. Very nice. I base my stay on the quality of the shower in the morning. My shower was cold. I had a conversation with someone in the elevator who had been there two nights and he said both mornings his showers were cold. Unacceptable for a brand new hotel.

There are not a lot of great hotel options in Muncie especially when BSU has an event. This is our second time staying here in just over a month and my wife and I are both happy with it. It's new, clean, comfortable, and convenient. The breakfast was very fresh and the staff was friendly. I think some of the reviews on here are a little rough but to each their own. We will definitely be staying here many times over the next four years. Chirp Chirp!!

I cannot actually rate the hotel. We booked it last minute through hotels.com it showed online that dogs were welcome with a fee. We showed up and we refuse serviced. Animals are not allowed. The front desk people were open about the fact that they know that it is incorrect on multiple third-party sites. But it didn’t matter cause they still don’t allow dogs no matter what it said online. They were not rude, but also there’s nothing they could do. Had to drive 30 minutes farther in the wrong direction to find a dog friendly hotel.

Four couples had confirmed reservations and three of them had their rooms canceled because of overbooking by the motel. Their reservations were made at least a week before check in date. I've been a member for quit a long time but will not be using your company in the future. Inexcusable service.

Sorry to say our reservation was canceled by Holliday Inn do to (as we were told) over booking. We were called as we were pulling up to the facility. While talking to the representative, he said we could go to the Hampton Inn just down the road they had availability. When we got to Hampton Inn they had no rooms available.

Front desk was very nice and accommodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Area was safe.

This is a brand new HI and very modern and clean. There are a few bugs to be fixed. The plumbing in the bathroom is very noisy and water going through the pipes from other rooms is loud. It also has a strange smell coming from the drain in the floor. The exercise room is awesome. 3 treadmill, 2 elliptical, weights, bike and plenty of space. the hotel was overbooked when we checked in and we almost lost our room which was booked ahead for two nights. Luckily the front desk person found us a room. I’m sure someone else lost out. Only other issue was no room service for towels and trash. We were glad to move out after two nights because the trash was piling up and there were no clean towels.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. The breakfast was not so great.
