Friendly staff

People screaming and yelling at each other at 3:30 a.m. woke up our entire floor. Complaints called to front desk but nothing was done for another 45 minutes. They should have kicked them out.

Breakfast menu was good. Hotel food. But they had plenty of variety. My baby is allergic to milk and they even had options for her.

The staff is excellent

The hotel is very good in terms of the room.
Bed is amazing, room very clean and very big.
Breakfast is terrible, but the hotel worth it due to the room.

Loved the room, absolutely gorgeous!!!!! The bed and pillows so comfortable. We definitely will stay again! The complimentary breakfast was outstanding, clean and a lot to choose from.

Property clean, friendly staff., great location.

The daytime staff was very friendly and attentive. The nighttime desk person was very dismissive to any request such as extra towels or concerns about dirty sheets on the Tumble Bed. Room was clean overall but bathrroom looked as if cleaned in a hurry( streak marks on toliet seat, already mildue stains in the shower). Smoke detector light flashes as night, not awesome for a good nights rest.

Clean and up-to-date modern hotel. It's easily accessible to eateries and stores. However, i have not received my deposit of 150.09 for incidentals.

Loved it!

This is extremely clean and new. The room comfortable fit the 6 of us. Best part was the breakfast in the morning which has so many options all 4 of my kids found something they liked

The decor is very stylish and attractive. Great layout and use of space in our room. Love the walk in shower.

As it was a new construction, when we traveled to the area for our loved one’s funeral, I booked four rooms for myself and family members.

After a lengthy day of travel, I turned in early. When one family member went to their room for the night, they discovered a blood-stained pillow. Given the late hour and being tired from travel, they removed all pillows attempted to rest and prepare for the upcoming, difficult service.

My notification of the incident came when we met to leave for the service-check out time. I notified the front desk staff who apologized and stated it would be noted.

When I called the property to discuss the issue, I was told the ONLY recourse would have been an offer of a different room at the time of discovery. I questioned if that was, in fact, the only solution to which I was told yes.

Knowing that I CHOSE the location saddens me. Knowing that the location is okay with poor customer service infuriates me!!

Being customer focused, I know what I would have done…BUT, the people at Springhill Suites by Marriott Dayton/Troy operate from a different creed. Sad!!

Also worthy to note, the breakfast options were limited and several machines were inoperable. One patron complained the problems were for a second day in a row.

Do better!!!
