Our first time in Argentina, and our stay at Viamonte has inspired us to return. This resort has exceptional hospitality and perfect location if you choose to utilize the bike trails through the valley, or walk to restaurants (although their own on-site restaurant is very good with spectacular Andes view). Don't understand why October is considered low season, but no complaints on rates - a true value, and the weather was perfect. While we prefer to supply our stock with Douro reds versus AR malbecs, the Mendoza rose is enjoyable and Patagonian gins were surprise discovery. Viamonte rooms are nicely appointed and beautiful grounds. We also stayed in chichi boutique hotel in Buenos Aires, but preferred the clean elegance of Viamonte. Highly recommend.
