Northwood Inn Prairie Du Chien

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and nicely cooled for the hot day. The facility could use some updating, but it is still a decent place to stay.

For the price, it was a good place. Waffles, eggs, sausage and more at breakfast. Rooms were spacious. The property is not super updated or in the best shape but very clean and sufficient for our weekend stay.

Carpet was dirty and some wall areas but bed was clean and very comfy. Bathroom was extremely small and poorly designed. Hot breakfast was cold, no juices, and no decaf coffee. Breakfast tables are in the lobby because there is no breakfast room.

Cleaning requires much more attention to detail. Dirt in corners, etc. "Breakfast" leaves much to be desired. Desk staff seemed very confused about our reservation. We asked for 2 keys, but only received one. A few standard supplies lacking in the room.
Will not stay there again.

Room/Bathroom clean. Comfortable bed. Very quiet in spite of being right on the highway. Stayed two nights…bed made and fresh towels following my first night’s stay. Weather was hot, but the room was comfortably cool. I would stay here again. Good location. Friendly staff.

It was nothing that they showed on internet. Manager & his son run the place. Father did not speak English, son was too busy to help. Took 40 minutes to check in because I had a small dog. Then the keys didn’t work. Noisy-as can be. Said it was remodeled from a Super 8 there is no way. For the price they charged, the lies & lousy management. I would not recommend!!! The son was as rude as can be, dad was nice but didn’t speak English.

The staff was very nice but the room smelled like cigarette smoke.

brought a 93 year old senior and was unable to get a main floor room and there was no elevator. breakfast options were disgusting, fan in bathroom had no cover, remote for tv needed new batteries, bathroom amenities (shampoo) were empty.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was a bit soft.

I wasn't planning on stopping for the night but I found this place for a great price. The front desk guy was super nice and the room was very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

The motel was very clean. The owner and his son were very kind and ready to serve (I am sure the wife/ mother is wonderful also, but I did not meet her). My family was just looking for a quick place to stay the night and this place was perfect for that. And the breakfast was good.

Near busy intersection but very reasonable price.

The cooling system was not working properly. Extremely humid in the room our entire stay despite running the air conditioner nonstop.

Quiet hotel, easy check in and checkout. Room could have been a little cleaner. Bed was comfortable.
