Pros:

We had a room on the top floor and there was an accompanying terrace with a table and some chairs. I had my morning coffee there, as they have a kitchen with a microwave and a fridge downstairs. The room was spacious and they had air conditioning, which was greatly appreciated as it was incredibly hot. There were a lot of stairs to climb, but we had a view of the lake. For what we paid, it was wonderful. We are budget travelers. There are some restaurants right across the street which were a bit noisy on Friday night, but it wasn’t a problem and certainly worth the view.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!! I contacted the property through Expedia to request information about the laundry listed as one of their amenities. The Owner sent me a 5 page document detailing the rules of the property but with no mention of laundry location in the hotel nor its hours. So I asked again, what are the hours of the laundry & where it was located in the building. As a traveler it’s imperative to have access to amenities a property has listed as available. The Owner stated the building did not have a laundry on site with a proper service, he then stated they do have a laundry on site but that he “wanted to clarify the laundry” was not free. After asking 5 times via Expedia messenger I was given the information I asked for, The laundry is open from 8am-5pm. The Owner was so evasive, the laundry advertised as an amenity was outside the property & not in the hotel.

We bought dinner & arrived back with leftovers only to find the fridge amenity nonfunctional. I requested a replacement of the mini fridge, & The Owner stated it was marked as working as the cleaning lady. He did not check if the fridge was working, he scheduled a repairman for 8am when we were to check out at 11am. This was unacceptable, & I complained to Expedia, the food would be spoiled by morning. The Owner flew into a rage, banged on our door, and ordered us to leave. He stated his rating was lowered by Expedia b/c of me. He gave us 45 minutes to get out “or the police would take us out by force”:(
