Staff was great. Pool was really nice with lots of wildlife to watch right off the side of the it.

Excellent service. Excellent recently renovated property.

Great location to town, beautiful pool, restaurant area on canal, room very clean, beds soft, breakfast delicious and front desk extremely helpful with all actions: taxi service, laundry, food suggestions

Muy buen hotel, muy nuevo. Las camas son un poco pequeñas. Ojalá inauguren pronto el restaurante ya que el desayuno del hotel (toca ir al hotel de al frente) es muy regular.

I had an amazing stay at Barranco Hotel! I stayed at the Dock House and the service was excellent from start to finish. The location couldn't be better just a short walk to the malecon and all the main attractions. The continental breakfast was fresh and delicious, a perfect way to start the day. I will definitely be coming back and staying here again. Highly recommended!

It was a beautiful hotel

Het hotel is in maart 2025 geopend. Staat is uitstekend, alleen is er nog geen ontbijt bij het hotel mogelijk (wordt nog verbouwd) maar het ontbijt wordt aangeboden bij een hostel vlakbij (kwaliteit van ontbijt is beperkt).
Personeel is jong en vriendelijk. Zwembad en jacuzzi zijn fijn, maar het zwembad is niet verwarmd (en dus fris). Maken een gezellig kampvuur als je daarom vraagt en kunnen ook diner opties organiseren voor in het hotel.
Wij hebben heel er genoten van ons verblijf.

The staff were very helpful and kind to us. The view and the bar outside at the sea was excellent. We loved it all!

El hotel es muy lindo y en general limpio y bien servicio. Sin embargo nos ofrecieron recogernos en el aeropuerto y no lo hicieron. Y hubo una noche completa y parte de la mañana sin agua ni luz

Ein wirklich schönes und neues Hotel direkt am Hafen und in der Nähe eines Supermarkts. Das Frühstück wird in Nachbarhotel serviert - was nicht wirklich stört, da es gleich gegenüber ist.
Am besten fanden wir den Hotel Pool - Ein Infinitypool mit Blick auf die Boote und die felsige Landschaft. Auch Leihfahrräder werden gratis zur Verfügung gestellt.

Amazing location overlooking the bay. We saw sea turtles, reef sharks, sea lions and lots of fish just sitting at the bar sipping cocktails. Breakfast is at the sister hotel across the road. The food served is from 2pm-10pm only (and also comes from across the street) and is cash only but very delicious (we had the meat and fish skewers). Only stayed one night before our cruise but would definitely stay there again if we were to return (and for longer than one night only).

Good location,but the hotel is under construction is a lot of construction noise,we was one night without water and towels what we find very inconvenient in this moment is not restaurant so if you book with breakfast they will send you to other hotel to take breakfast.

Excelente atención y personal muy amable

This was our family's second trip to the Galapagos and we found the new Hotel Barranco online and took a chance as it didn't have many reviews. We had a wonderful stay! Everything is brand new, clean, and beautifully decorated! The location is super convenient to the dock for the ferries and excursions. Jobeth was super helpful setting up our trips and recommending restaurants. One of the highlights of the property is the pool overlooking the lagoon with the resident seals relaxing by the water. Was great to cool off with a cocktail by the bar after our daily adventures. Totally recommend this hotel for your family's stay in the Galapagos!! Thanks to all the staff for a great stay!
