Hôtel victoria

I had to text them for information on how to access my room. The climb up rhe 45 steps would be daunting for anyone with mobility issues. The fact that the outside door was open all night did put me off a bit. There could be another bit of security there with another keypad. It is an old renovated home so you hear a lot, but absolutely beautiful. I wouldn't want to stay in the room that exits right into the kitchen though. Would definitely stay there again!

I would stay again. I think potential guests would like to know that the exterior door is always open, so that will bother some people. I had the small room and I had to keep the AC running all night because the room was very warm, and the window does not open.

This is a hostel, not a hotel as the name would imply. The nice thing is laundry machines are included if you needed it.

We are *extremely* disappointed with this property due to its deceitful description in the listing. While the place was very clean, the bathrooms are shared, not in the room. The door to my room was literally in the kitchen. You can imagine what a pleasure it was to wake up to people talking and making noise. Lastly, the hotel is literally across the street from a still-active railroad where freight trains run all night! Just awful! Our only saving grace is that we had the presence of spirit to turn on the crappy noisy AC unit that blocked half of the only window in the room (forget fresh air), and that acted as somewhat of a noise machine during the night to block out the trains. This is nothing more than a glorified, expensive hostel. Thank God we only here 1 night! Expedia doesn't allow to post photos, but I will add them to Google maps.

The place was very clean and the room was great! The parking was also easy to find. It's located on the 3rd floor so you need to climb a set of stairs to reach the main door.

It seemed all I needed for the evening but the bed mattress was terrible, you could hear the bed springs with every movement. It was very clean but lacked a hand towel holder in most communal bathrooms. 40 narrow stairs to the front door made it VERY inconvenient.

Il y avait 2 salles de bain pour les 5 chambres et ce n'était pas indiqué ainsi sur le site.

Le Bar Victoria se trouve dans le même bâtiment que l’hébergement. Le menu offre des aliments d’excellentes qualités. Les repas sont délicieux, l’accueil chaleureux et l’ambiance très agréable.
Je recommande fortement cet endroit.

The Air BNB portion of property is well kept, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked. The bathrooms are clean and renovated.

The neighborhood around the property and other parts of house are a bit run down.

So clean and the whole process of checking was communicated clearly and was so well organized.

Restaurant in front of the hotel was amazing.

Nous avons fait une nuit à l’hôtel, la literie est très confortable, les douches propres et spacieuses. Seul bémol : la clim (dans la chambre) était très bruyante et cela nous a réveillé dans la nuit.

Its tucked off the Trans Canada highway not far out of the way. Nice old converted home but i was unaware (my fault) that the bathroom is shared. When i think "hotel" I think self contained. The walls are a bit thin and theres no actual "hotel" staff on premises but I managed to get the operators name/# from the restaurant, and he sorted out my error with they key quickly. All in all, given the area and amenities available locally, I'd stay here again. Nice quiet place on a Thursday.

Great location for a stop when travelling from New Brunswick to Montreal or Ottawa. Would stay again. Price is right to lay your head down.
