The Flodigarry Hotel in the Skye

Second time staying at Flodigarry. Facilities, staff, bar, surroundings are all incredible. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Restaurant has amazing food and the bar has about everything you could possibly want to drink. I hope to return on a future trip to Scotland.

Beautiful place.

This place is fantastic! It’s the most beautiful location on Skye! The restaurant is fabulous and the bar service is awesome! Minutes away from the most iconic hikes on the island. The rooms in the cottage are wonderful and the staff is fantastic! We’ve been all over Scotland and this place is our favorite!

We loved the Flodigarry Hotel. The staff were so helpful and caring. The food was fabulous as was the service. The hotel and surrounding natural beauty is stunning. What a great stay - it’s worth the little extra drive out of Portree.

Very nicely situated accommodation. We stayed in the “Garden Lodge” which was nicely decorated. Staff at the lobby was excellent and very helpful. The staff in the dining area was even to European standards somewhat tardy (e.g. 20
Mins wait for coffee at breakfast, 50 minutes wait between two course meal). The overall experience was very positive.

I can’t say enough about our stay here. An absolutely fabulous property with absolutely delicious and delectable food not to mention great drinks at the bar from Edward, who welcomed us with such warm hospitality, and even fed us at very late hour. But over and above what made it extremely special was running into Leon. Leon was such a wonderful, kind, caring and extremely thoughtful man. He truly made this a vacation memorable in more ways than one. Leon you truly are exceptional and you “ROCK” 😉
Also, a shout out to two other incredible staff members Connor and Jacob. Again, we love this place and we definitely will be back! Love the 4 Canadian ladies…

Beautiful property…quiet and secluded. Only one bad part…Colin the bartender had a horrible attitude and non-service mindset. Never encountered someone so rude attitude.

The property was absolutely beautiful with a stunning view. The service was first class from checkin through every meal and drink. Loved the pub, quiet and well stocked with a knowledgeable bartender. Food was excellent. And super conveniently located to the key sites on Isle of Skye. Just perfect in every regard

Probably the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. View was superb. Room was charming and well equipped. Food delicious. Staff was so kind, friendly, helpful.

Truly stunning location and top-notch service. Highly recommend stretching for one of the suites. They were crazy beautiful.

First this is not in Portree, but 40mn+ drive away. We booked a room with king size bed, but were given garden lodge with queen size and weird branches coming out of 4 corners, shrinking it further. Young woman at the desk insisted it was king (website says it’s queen). Other issues which really affected our stay - sinks, shower and tub in room (no door), toilet door that didn’t close, weak shower and lights etc. So so expensive for what we experienced, maybe because we booked through Hotels.com? Felt that garden lodge was a handyman special. The main building is really nice, breakfast just right. Superb water view from those public rooms.
