Whisky Hotel

Terrible stay. I was told valet parking was available, along with self parking, $38 parking overnight. This was not true. Third party valet turned us away saying hotel parking wasn’t allowed. The hotel doesn’t seem to communicate with their own valet, nor do they control their conduct on the property. Very rude staff. Hollywood tourist trap.

The hotel and staff were very nice. However, the area surrounding the hotel not so much.

Great Hotel, The Whiskey was an experience, great art, clean rooms, amazing lobby and roof top patio. Highly recommend this hotel. Close to all the Hollywood attractions.

Seriously understaffed. Breakfast after a rainy night was a disaster. Two outside tables dried off gave a total of 6 tables. Dozens of people wandering around with nowhere to sit and no to go boxes. Only decaf coffee provided in room, asked housekeeping and front desk. “We are out” was the only response. Why not go and buy some pods? use the $30 you nickel and dimmed me to check in an hour early. On the plus side, quiet room and still pretty fresh feeling.

Staff were great, hotel was good. Location was about 7 minute walk to the main strip. Overall a good stay for us.

Clean room yet tried to charge me extra $ to check in 1.5 hrs prior to 4pm. Also only decaffeinated espresso pods in room and stated at front desk that’s all they had. 1 ply TP and non label water in room. Last was charged more $ for destination fees for two nights that they stated due to booking thru hotels.com which is absurd and taking advantage of a first time customer.

The staff was friendly. The rooms were very nice. However with no shower curtain, there was water everywhere after showering and limited towels to clean up. The beds were comfortable and the valet parking made it easy to come and go. Convenient location if you are interested in the night life.

I looked up multiple hotels nearby and this was one that looked safe, clean and accessible. The staff was super nice and helped us get in the room early so we can get ready for a wedding!

The location is absolutely perfect for anyone wanting to be in the middle of the tourist attractions. Room was on the small side but not a big deal. Gorgeous view of the Hollywood sign and a great rooftop bar. My only complaint is that they allow airplay on the televisions but don’t name the TVs. So, every 30 minutes or so in the evening, someone would try to airplay to our TV. We finally figured out how to turn it off. I’d also appreciate some control of the lights near the bed. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

The hotel is nice enough....the restaurant is not open so the closest place for food is a 7/11 and I would not walk there at night....not a great neighborhood

NO BS... I had an unbelievable stay! From the time I checked in until the time I checked out, the staff was excellent, the Room, Great Free Breakfast, Big Comfortable Bed and the shower pressure is a 10 out of 10! I've been traveling quite a bit lately and without question this is one of the best experience I've had recently! Close to the Hollywood Bowl & Dodger Stadium! ...Front Desk Staff, Sun Deck Bar Staff and Valet Staff are the BEST! Without question, when I'm back in town, I'll be staying at "The Whiskey Hotel".
