Nothing fancy. Nice folks and a decent place to stay.
JUST KEEP DRIVING!!!! THERE IS A SUPER 8 AROUND THE CORNER.
Didn’t stay they said they didn’t accept hotels.com. Windows were boarded up in some rooms. Very dirty and bad odor
When we pulled up to the hotel. My spouse looked at me and at the same time we said NOPE! We refused to walk in and check in! There was not a single parking spot other than the handicap parking. As for the curb side appearance it completely makes you regress your choices online! This hotel shouldn’t even be an option on the website! It’s a long term rental property. So no on all aspects this property has to offer!
The toilet was urine stained at the base. My bottom sheet had a cigarette burn hole in it. Room wasn't very clean. No hot water for a shower in he morning. The hotel is very dated. I cancelled my second night reservation with them.
Louis was excellent, he went over and above to accommodate us. He recognized my veteran status for which i an eternally grateful
Staff were kind! The woman at the front desk made us feel very welcome. My kids were excited for the pool but it is out of service and unlikely to ever be. Luckily there is a public pool nearby - my kids had a blast. This was a good place to stay on our way to Glacier NP!
Despite our reservation, no rooms available when we arrived
The room was booked for a certain price, but when we got to the motel, we were told we had to pay in cash as their card reader had been down for two weeks and couldn’t get it fixed. Then the price went up another $20! I held my ground and they accepted the agreed upon booking price. The room was okay, dirty corners and the whole place smelled like an ashtray.
Room smelled terrible. Curtains literally falling off the wall. Not sure if it was dirty, we were so distracted by the smell and the dog loudly barking. Turns out dog belongs to the desk clerk. Cash only. We didn’t stay here. Chose to sleep in our car instead.
Upon checking in, cash was the only payment option, even though we wanted to use a credit card, the worst thing was that the clerk put the cash in his wallet! The staff was not always at the desk and did not always appear when called for and the wifi was sketchy at best.
As far as cleanliness is involved, the sheets had little blood stains on them, they had been laundered but still stained, arm chair and ottoman were also stained. Also in the room, the smoke detector was laying on the closet shelf and the wires for it or another overhead light were capped but hanging loose from the ceiling! Your website for this property said they offered a continental breakfast, not true, not even coffee in the lobby.
The best thing about this property was that there was a Bible in our room, one in the lobby, and they had a really great gift shop with very reasonable prices. I would definitely NOT recommend this property to others.
We booked at Glacier Gateway Inn but found a note during check in to go to the property across the road, "Gateway plaza Inn". The hotel is run by a nice family who tries their best to keep everything perfect for you, even thought the condition of the property is not great. Renovations were ongoing, and it seems like it would eventually become a good place once the entire property is completely renovated. Wi-Fi isn't great and very fewer amenities provided in the room. Overall we stayed here for the price and I guess it is what it is in that price. Hope for a better future of this place only because of the nice people running it.
Great for the peice
The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.
Staff was so mive. Ac was cold! Room was clean and comfy. Price amd location to Glacier was excellent!
I was only planning to stay one night. I was going to do the motorcycle ride called “Going to the Sun” that bisects Glacier National Park. But, when I got up the next morning, it was raining heavily. The owner and I had had a nice chat yesterday as a fellow motorcycle enthusiast. He understood my dilemma. It’s a hard enough route in good weather. They let me keep my room for another day, and even reduced the rate. That’s customer service.
unresponsive staff
not maintained
The front desk that checked us in was nice
We did not have a trash can in the room. No ice available. Laundry was behind registration desk in a deconstucted area of the building accross the street.
Nice people who run it
