Warm welcome at reception. Comfy room and bed. Great location to visit the town (less than 5 minute walk) and the Anvil theatre (less than 10 minute walk). Tasty, hot breakfast with plenty of choice.

I stayed here again sat 8th and sun 9th November. It's become a go to place to stay for me when I visit my mother in a nearby care home. As usual I had a great stay and the staff are fantastic. Big shout out for Bobby,he really does know the meaning of fantastic customer service. Area and country wide management of premier Inn take note👍👍👍

I've stayed at a fair few Premier Inns over the years and this is honestly the most warma and welcoming one imaginable. The staff here are beyond attentive! The whole team are incredible. Welcoming, warm, polite, attentive.
The rooms are immaculate, clean, well laid out and have everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The food is tasty, hot, generously sized portions and served in good time.
I have literally nothing negative to say!

All staff where frendly and attentative, couldnt ask for any more, above and beyond exspectations for service.

Hotel was great, clean, restaurant offered good food and beverages, its located very close to parking and town.

Had a fantastic one-night stopover at Premier Inn Basingstoke Town Centre. The staff were incredibly welcoming at check-in and continued to provide excellent service during breakfast and check-out. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered great value for money. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis right outside, with additional options nearby if needed. Highly recommend for a convenient and pleasant stay.

This is a well run premier inn with helpful friendly staff. Great location, a few minutes walk from the town centre and Haymarket Theatre.

Hotel is located well for town centre. Staff were excellent. Shower was cold, mixer valve may have been faulty so wasn't mixing the hot and cold water. Bed was uncomfortable. Windows couldn't be opened, on purpose, so no fresh air in room was possible, o only from ac.

The Basingstoke Premier Inn is a comfortable, friendly, central hotel. Good bed and bath/shower plus freshly cooked breakfast.

My wife and I had a lovely night when we stayed this weekend. A special mention must go to Bobby. He was really friendly and attentive. A real asset to the company. Nothing was too much trouble for him and I must also mention Claire who was also very friendly and cooked us our excellent meals. We will be returning at some point and its largely down to Bobby and Claire

Everything you’d expect from the chain with no disappointments! Checking in was welcoming with friendly staff and there’s a nice bar area adjacent to the lobby. My room on the first floor was spotlessly clean with views over the car park and remained silent throughout the night. The location of the hotel is great, being an easy walk to the centre of town and I would certainly stay here again.

Lovely staff. Had an issue with air con - sorted out without fuss. Lovely first class service at dinner by the lovely lady in the restaurant. The young fella at check in was also first rate and in total they made me totally welcome. I have changed my previous negative prejudice about the “Purple Palace” and will stay here here again when next in town.

I always try to stay at Premier Inn hotels as you can almost guarantee a decent night's sleep. Normally, however the food is provided by an adjacent pub or similar.
This location provided food in house which was much better.
A colleague and I arrived at about 4.30pm on Tuesday 9th September, tired, hungry and thirsty.
We we greeted by the concierge on duty, a young man named Bobby. I have to say that if being a great host was an Olympic sport, Bobby would win a gold medal!. He was extremely polite, professional and very clear with the information he provided, answering all our questions clearly. He also served us at dinner and again, faultless in his attention to us and how he could ensure our dinner was just right.
He had a great sense of humour as well and I can honestly say that after a long and hard day, Bobby was the perfect remedy. Premier Inn have got a diamond in Bobby. I will most definitely be staying at this site next time I need to be in Basingstoke overnight.

Went for breakfast food was cooked very good Quality and the chef was very friendly called Claire. Will come again for breakfast next I want to try there dinner menu

Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Bobby and Claire, who promptly assisted with parking arrangements. Their exceptional service has significantly enhanced my perception of the Premier Inn brand. I would like to formally commend these individuals to the management for their outstanding contributions.

Convenient hotel for Basingstoke centre. Very clean room and bathroom. Big, comfortable beds. Friendly , helpful staff. Delicious breakfast.
Car parking is next door to the hotel. You have to pay for it.
The temperature in our room was too hot, but the staff member was able to turn it down centrally when we asked.
No water glasses in the room.

Whilst the website makes it clear that there is no car parking it appeared that there was car parking right outside the premises although limited spaces. It's unclear who is allowed to park here although all spaces were taken.
Upon arrival was asked to repeat and document exactly the same as I'd already done having completed the online check in. Makes the online check in superfluous.
Rooms are smaller than the average Premier Inn but okay.
Excellent location for the town centre.
