Premier Inn Cambridge North - Girton

Excellent experience.

I have stayed in many Premier Inn's over the years but the service offered here has been the best so far. Quiet and clean room, smooth check in and smiling staff. Evening meal was great and was served by the manager Monica. She was amazing on explaining the meal deal and that we can upgrade for dessert as well.At the end of food service we also received chocolates and this was a nice gesture . Showt out to Monik and Diana!

Been served at the Desk and in the restaurant by Monica and Dianna, (apologies if spellings are incorrect) but both of them were lovely. Very attentive!

Warm welome and attentive, professional staff. Quiet and comfortable rooms, well located for my destination. Tracy was exceptionally good on the evening shift in the restaurant and let me take food back to my room as I was tired.

Quick, easy service. Answered every question. As restaurant being only for guests, was nice and quiet and not overwhelming or overbearing. Served by Tracy. Very welcoming.

Rooms comfortable, reception staff lovely. Had a meal in the restaurant, took 1 hour and 15 minutes to serve us a burger (and there was only other customer). NOT GOOD The roof leaked also.

We had a wonderful stay at Premier Inn Cambridge North (Girton). The room was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable, with a great bed for a perfect night’s sleep. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was tasty and well stocked, with plenty of options. The location is convenient and peaceful. Overall, an excellent experience — we would happily stay here again!

Restaurant was in a listed, beautiful building with in-house water feature. Beer selection excellent. Hand picked lemons to go with my desert. Monica is amazing. Fantastic service. (Knife was huge)

The hotel is ideally located for visits to central Cambridge, with a bus stop right outside on the way back. It is clean, comfortable and warm. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Tracy at breakfast. We all had a good time and would stay there again when we visit Cambridge/

This Premier Inn has helpful and friendly staff. Room was clean and comfy. Usual high Premier Inn standards.
Booked a dinner and breakfast package which is good value; however disappointed that the bar area is closed in the evening and I ate dinner in the small breakfast area - not a stunning dining experience. The food was well cooked and as described.
Breakfast was very good with the usual wide choice. There is no hot buffet to pick from so cooked breakfasts are made to order. The food was great but it took so long to arrive - a good 30 mins.
Good parking and 10 min walk to nearby Sainsburys.

Room was as expected for a Premier Inn and happy with that as clean and tidy, restaurant was in house and staff friendly and inviting, the menu is somewhat limited but does the job

I booked for my son and I to stay here for the night before his admission to Royal Papworth Hospital. We managed to get ground floor bedrooms, which I hadn’t found a way of booking in advance. All the staff were amazingly helpful. They now have a full evening menu, which was good. Breakfast was excellent. We’ll no doubt be back …

Lovely comfy, quiet hotel, Staff friendly and welcoming. The meal deal was great for value and the food excellent. Being able to leave car in carpark and take bus into city centre was a great bonus.

The staff were all lovely, but the hotel itself was cold (until they put the heating on!) soulless, and the food choices dismal. A new menu has ignored choices for gluten free diets. Having taken the meal deal, as we had before, we were not impressed with only 7 items on the menu, and only 2 gf. The starters were a joke, and limited 3 pudding choices. Not good Premier Inn. It was hit and miss if the breakfast chef could cook eggs that weren't solid 😕 Sorry Cambridge North, wouldn't return or recommend.

Comfy beds and great breakfast. Staid for a week in premier in Cambridge. Bed was extremely comfortable to sleep in. And the breakfast was made to order (unlimited) and was very good. Great value for money.

Comfortable and well appointed room. Friendly staff and efficient service. You always know what you’re getting with a premier inn !

Convenient location with bus stop outside for short hop to city centre.Sadly thats where the positives end. Having visited this Premier Inn numerous times over the past 8 years, a visit in Sept 25, found that it has hit a new low. Initially allocated rooms 4 & 6 on the ground floor for our 3 night stay. Bathroom in room 4 smelt of urine, even after a re-clean. Moved to rooms 108 & 109. Both rooms tired, defective TV in room 108, blood on all three towels in room 109. Issued internet upgrade for first evening to allow streaming on own laptop with promise of fix next mornings. No fix, no follow up contact and no wifi voucher for second night. Checked out and found another hotel for third leaving me £200 out of pocket. This drab, unmaintained is an indicator of how a once proud Premier Inn brand is going down the drain. Im quite happy with basic but filthy is unacceptable.
PS. the bed wasn`t comfy either.

Great base for visiting Cambridge. Half hourly bus takes you right into the centre.
Rooms are clean and there's plenty of tea and coffee available
We booked breakfast for 8 and continental and cooked where both plentiful.
Staff all very helpful.

1 night stay on 19th August. Very quiet night, very good windows so didn't hear any noise from the car park,but it's not a huge hotel so shouldn't be a large number of cars coming and going anyway. Clean room and helpful staff on reception. Would stay again!
