Room smelled musty. The toilet roll hadn't been topped up before my stay & had to request it was refilled. You need to request a room clean if you require one. Not enough towels provided, had to request more. 1 out of 3 receptionists was friendly, others barely spoke as walked through reception.
When checking in the staff were very police and friendly. The only problem was the room. This room smelt of damp all night which caused an untested night.
Lovely clean room. Staff on reception very professional, friendly and helpful.
This was our third time staying with you we will be back.
Wonderful experience with Louise on reception instantly changed our room to a more accessible one, was very warm and friendly, can't thank her enough after a fairly traumatic afternoon. Good food at the restaurant next door for dinner and breakfast.
Tara at reception was fantastic, she advised us of things to do and places to visit, she was friendly, helpful and professional, a really good start to our visit.
We stayed here at the hotel at very short notice due to a leak problem in our home and myself and husband with our two young children had the leave our home at a very short notice, Louise the manager was outstanding during our stay , and the two night shift staff that was on - one being new to her role was very helpful and accommodating to our needs at this difficult time.
If I could rate 10 stars I would.
Thank you ladies for a lovely stay.
The beds were extremely comfortable but the room hadn’t been vacuumed and smelled stale and sweaty. The window had been opened to counteract this but it hadn’t had the desired effect.
We ate dinner at The Star Inn just across the way. The food and service were excellent, but the place was tired and grubby looking.
This is a lovely hotel in a good location, with free parking and good facilities. Alison was very helpful and really freindly, thank you!
Excellent.
Lovely clean room. Comfortable bed.
Tea and coffee making facilities.
A walk in shower would have been nicer than shower in the bath...but bathroom very clean. Helpful friendly staff
Would recommend
Handy for Gatwick and free parking
for a so called budget hotel
(stayed in plenty budget and the other end hotels..4/5 star)
This place is Supreme.
Not 1 night or 2 nights,been here 12 nights,will be here another 2 months.
When staff go beyond the call of duty ( without customer asking )
Always a 5 star ' hint '
I do not know ( obviously ) all individuals names ( ie the cleaning team)
But,and who,not just today,Sunday June 7th 2025,every day,last 12 days.
The friendliest staff team,I have ever experienced.
Nothing,zero to much trouble.
All the staff.
Extra Special mentions, for ALISON TARA & FIN.
thankyou
plus whoever today's cleaning team,Inc the above 3 staff members
who,without me asking or requesting;
sorted something to make my stay even better.
Thankyou ALISON
Thankyou TARA
Thankyou FIN
also,Mo & Mr.D !
Rachel thankyou so much extra Special
Zoe thankyou so much.
Sam as well.
very helpful, I paid and sorted an early check in and the receptionist loo was really kind and she helped me take my bags to the room. Thats above and beyond the role of a receptionist. Only 1 thing about the rooms that there are no plugs next to the bed and the USB sockets do t work. I'm glad I brought a long charging cable! It's handy having refill teas and coffee out on reception so we can just refill when we run out. The pub next door has great food, best pie I've tried at a pub!
I came here due to a family member having a major operation at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead. Louise on reception was friendly, couldn’t have done more to make my stay more enjoyable. She was a joy to have met. The rooms were quiet, cool spacious and spotless.
The pub ( The Star inn at feltbridge ) is really close & the food is great ( especially the sea bass with risotto).
A pleasure to go to.
As always, it was a good stay here. Alison (reception) gave us a very warm welcome. Remembered us from a previous visit. We Instantly felt settled, relaxed, and had a good nights sleep, and a great shower the next morning. We will be coming back.
Staff are incredibly friendly, stayed here for work many times now and the experience is always the same, comfortable and clean rooms with very friendly and helpful staff. For a short stay or business trip I couldn’t recommend more highly!
Excellent budget hotel for an overnight stay if you have an early flight from London Gatwick airport. Plenty of parking, pub next door, and a M+S local attached to a petrol station a few minutes drive away if you need snacks.
Reception staff very friendly, courteous and professional. Rooms clean and tidy, bed comfortable and no outside noise to disturb sleep.
Nothing not to like.
The room had hairs in the bed and bath the sink had toothpaste on it. The internet was rubbish. Never got informed about breakfast when checking in. The lady receptionists were very helpful. Would be ok if was clean. Quiet at night but the pillows were not great.
The hotel was ok but would not recommend the breakfast! £11.00 for cold food, stale pastries and ran out of brown bread. Staff were miserable and unhelpful. Split us from other members of our family even when we asked to sit near them - sat us in the opposite side of the restaurant
The staff are one of the friendliest, welcoming team that I have met. The food and service at the local pub/restaurant was first class, again with excellent staff. There's no shuttle bus service from Gatwick but an easy trip with local taxis. Very good value for anyone visiting the area or flying from Gatwick!
Excellent stay for myself and my wife for visiting a friend. Plenty of parking. I was very happy that the room was lovely and clean. Staff were brilliant, assisted us anytime we needed help. Bed was incredibly comfortable. We certainly will be staying again.
Poor all round, didn’t expect a 5 star as it’s a premier inn but the room was terrible, mould everywhere and just generally dirty all round, considering this was a family room it just shows that they have given up on this hotel. No issues with the staff though.
