Absolutely beautiful property! Lovely pools and impeccable beach. Restaurants are good, housekeeping was the only miss - no turndown one night and had to request cleaning at 3 pm after having had the service sign on all day

Cons:

We arrived at The St. Regis Longboat Key at 4:27 PM, expecting a smooth check-in as the official time is 4:00 PM. Unfortunately, our room was not ready. The front desk receptionist simply told us to wait in the lobby for 30–40 minutes - no welcome drinks, no apology.

We explained we had plans and kindly asked them to expedite the process. Only after this request did they offer us a room within 10 minutes. It gave us the impression that they could have done it earlier, and the lack of proactive hospitality was disappointing.

At breakfast, we had to wait about 15 minutes just to be seated — with a line of guests forming and staff seeming unprepared.

For a luxury property, we expected a higher level of attentiveness and warmth. И добавь что я жила во многих странах в st.Regis но это был худший опыт

Having stayed at St. Regis hotels in several countries, I can confidently say this was the weakest service experience I’ve had with the brand. For a hotel of this category, we expected a much higher level of attentiveness and personalized care.

Cons:

Revestimento das piscinas rústicos. Serviço da área da piscina necessita ser mais prestativo. Precisei pedir toalhas, pedir água, nada me foi oferecido. Mesas de apoio sujas.
Check-in confuso, ao invés de dar o horário exato que o quarto estaria pronto ( 16:00) , nos fizeram esperar no saguão por horas, falando que o quarto estava sendo arrumado.

I thought there maybe a lifeguard on the beach for safety as it was quiet and not many people so would have felt safer if a lifeguard was on duty.
