The Z Hotel Glasgow

Needed a place to stay for night, cancelled trains meant couldn't get home. Was second time booking this hotel. Knew would be a clean and comfortable room with a quick seemless check in, efficient and friendly staff.

Everything was very good

Sadly felt very claustrophobic in room without window

Reception staff was friendly, welcoming and overall excellent. Luca is rightfully proud of Scotland and shared some tales and legends.

Room, while small, was nicely appointed with tea kettle & tea and bathroom had plenty of hot water. I enjoyed the windowless room and will stay here in my next visit.

Great area to be in. I was travelling alone as a female traveler, and the staff made me feel safe and welcome. There was a little fire scare, and they handled it perfectly and I felt in good hands. Would recommend.

Perfect room for a solo traveller. Friendly staff and 24/7 cafe. Excellent location to walk to all major sights as well as close to transit

Lovely staff at check-in. spotless room which was designed well and maximised the space. small but perfect for a short overnight. Great location too.

I had organised balloons to go into the room for my other half birthday to which on our arrival it was not done.

Easy to get to in centre of town near everything. Quick check in, friendly staff.

It was a very hit and miss stay in all honesty. TV didnt work, wifi on the 5th floor which i was on was non existent, was very little space to put clothes other than 3 little coat hangers on a wall....

By time i wantes the TV on it was gone 10 oclock and was ready for bed by this point even though someone said that they could come sort it in the next 15 minutes. It still wasnt great. The room sizes are very small so if your coming as a couple id suggest elsewhere....

Bed was comfy and good location wise, but like i said lack of facilities and things just seemed to go wrong with the stay, even the skylite shutter was broke so had constant light coming through...

There was no window in my room which was kind of weird. The shower had great water pressure and the bed was comfortable and spotless. I just needed it for sleeping anyway, it was very adequate. Great location.

Central location. No place for clothes. Room smelled musty. No room cleaning done during our stay. The staff were okay. I will not book hotels through HOTELS. Com again. The condition of the property for the last two stays did not reflect the pictures.

Was hard to get temperature in room comfortable.

Loved loved loved this place! So nice and modern looking, AC was amazing, the shower was immaculate (literally had the best shower I’ve had in ages here lol)! The place is pretty small, but as a solo traveler, I loved it, it’s just enough space for me. The room is listed as a double occupancy, but I don’t know how two people could comfortably stay in that room lol, so I get people’s complaint that it’s too small. One minor issue I had though was the WiFi suddenly started acting up one night and just would not work. Thought it was just me, but then I saw a phone hotspot pop up nearby so I figured another guest also had issues with the WiFi so just started using their phone’s hotspot. That was annoying, I had to just go to bed, but it seemed to be working again in the morning. But overall, I loved my stay here and would stay here again for sure! Definitely recommend! I keep comparing my other hotels I stayed in afterward to this one to see if they measure up lol

Very small room. Toilet and shower 2 steps from bed. Otherwise clean staff very nice.
