The staff - each and every one of them. From the night check in staff to the lovely hostess at our breakfast to the dear gentleman serving us drinks n dinner at the bar, each one was so friendly and gave us great service. I am extremely happy I chose to come here. The rooms were of course huge and clean and luxurious but I absolutely loved the staff!
Wonderful waterfront location. Dinner and breakfast were very good. The staff were kind and personable!
Nothing wrong with the actual hotel, with a very good breakfast included. Breakfast staff were very good. The main issue was the location due to a couple of idiots driving their souped-up cars round the town centre until 2am. Also, room 14 is above the front door which is noisy until about midnight, and starts again at 6am. Avoid this room, if possible.
Lovely large rooms , comfy beds with lovely linen. Very clean bedrooms and bathrooms’ and helpful reception staff
Enjoyed our stay at the Royal Hotel. The front desk staff as well as he staff at the attached Black Sheep Pub and the Harbourview Grill were lovely. We had a large room with a view of the marina. Breakfast wa included in the morning and went above a beyond the typical complimentary hotel breakfast. I am hoping to return to Campbeltown and will book the Roal Hotel again.

Great property. Room was very big and comfortable. They were able to accommodate to a celiac person with their gluten-free options.
