This place has charm. Kate was an absolutely lovely host. She gave me great recommendations on what to do in the area. Her Irish hospitality is unmatched. The room was unique and had character. The shower/tub was my favorite out of any of my other stays on this trip. So spacious. I would definitely stay at Wild Honey Inn again in the future.
Clean room. Very quaint!! Enjoyed the night
The Wild Honey Inn was as sweet as its name implies! Kate and her staff are wonderful! Service is excellent and I felt so welcomed and taken care of. The daily breakfast menu is sophisticated, with divine flavors and textures. Thanks to Kate’s husband’s menu selection and extraordinary food. The breakfast area is beautiful and it overlooks a magnificent garden. My room was lovely and very comfortable. I loved being there. So much more to share, so instead , come and check it out! Thank you everyone for making my trip to Lisdoonvarna so memorable! Pat Kelley
It provided basic needs and felt safe. All rooms seem to be on the third floor and there are no elevators. Parking was very limited.
Very inviting, comfortable, great place to stay!
Lovely Irish Inn, breakfast was plentiful and tasty, innkeeper was gracious and informative.
Lovely hotel - full of character. Very convenient location future Cliffs of Moher .
The owners were so hospitable
The Wild Honey Inn was phenomenal! Absolutely beautiful inside! Each room has its own character and beautiful views. The back garden is also beautiful. They serve a wonderful breakfast and were extremely accommodating of all our requests. I would love to stay here again!
It is very cutely decorated and had a nice view of horses across the street. The area is quiet. No elevators so you have to carry your bags up 3 flights of stairs (if on top floor). Wifi didn’t really work. There was no food service (except breakfast). Bottle of water provided but that’s it for amenities. Would have been nice to have a kettle/coffee maker. Walls are paper thin - heard our neighbour talking and snoring all night. No way to control heat/air- windows didn’t open.
Buotique hotel a 10 minuti dalle scogliere di moher. Camere pulitissime e dotate di ogni confort. È stato un piacere conoscere i proprietari sempre sorridenti e pronti ad aiutarti. Assolutamente consigliato
Works more like a B&B than a 4 stars hotel. Don’t waste your money here.
Favorite night of our Ireland trip so far.
No parking. The bar was not open. Receptionist was vague to say the least!!!
We had a wonderful stay at the Wild Honey Inn. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and chatting with the owners. Our only regret was that we had booked only one night instead of two. We hope to be back on our next trip to Ireland.
Nice hotel with small but nice furnished rooms. Good shower and bed. No elevator ! No WIFI in upper floor !
Good but expensive breakfast.
Very quaint and charming. Lots of antiques about. Comfy bed and skeleton keys. Close proximity to the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin and Lahench. About an hour drive to SNN airport or Galway. Although a continental breakfast is available to everyone, it appeared that some guests are not offered hot breakfast, which felt undignified. There are only 13 rooms approximately, and it seemed like the majority of guests were provided with a hot breakfast menu, and besides my husband and I, I only noticed one other couple not offered hot breakfast, equally confused as we were, and we were not offered the option to pay for hot breakfast or add it on with our Expedia booking.
The customer service was exceptional. This was part of a longer stay and it is very quaint. It is walkable to an area restaurant about half a mile away. If you have trouble with mobility, there are other places that are closer. The parking availability was challenging. The in itself is like a boutique stay. The room was quite comfortable. The shower was hard to figure out. And the hot and cold faucets are separate, very old-fashioned. The woman running the Inn is a sweetheart and clearly works incredibly hard. Breakfast was good and it’s a very pretty restaurant. I loved the stay because of the quaintness, but the Wi-Fi was very slow.
The Wild Honey Inn can only be ranked as 5++. Superb service and quality with a calm elegance beyond expectation.
The most amazing quaint hotel that captures the essence of the west of Ireland
