Disappointing but then I find hotels usually are.

Breakfast coffee was delicious

Cons:

Was meant to be staying at the Port Talbot Grand but was moved without any real explanation why. Lock didn't work on the door. Room wasn't ready for me when I arrived at 3.30 pm. Toaster wasn't working at breakfast. You're giving a hard-boiled egg!

Pros:

Proximity to the main train station

Cons:

Outer facilities are a bit outdated.

Lack of restaurant and meals. This should be highlighted in their adverts and promotions so guests are aware before booking.

Check out time should be extended to 12pm

Pleasant experience with some of the basics!
Pros:

The lady on the front desk was beyond kind and helpful. The room was cleaned for us quickly (an oversight when booking). Hotel was close to the train station and cheap considering there's a festival happening nearby!

Cons:

I messaged to enquire about early check in and received a reply that check in was from 11am. We arrived at 12 and they were not expecting us. (Check in is from 3pm) Despite the information recieved being wrong, the hotel prioritised us and had our room cleaned very quickly.

I will also add, the walls are very thin so you can hear downstairs and your neighbours! Amd we weren't sure what was included with our stay- breakfast? Etc. Couldn't find hairdryer also.

Great Stay
Pros:

Good area, near to the train station & the bus station. Nicely kept hotel for the price with a comfortable bed. Would definitely visit again.
