Beautiful eco-friendly hotel by stunning Lake Bohinj
Pros:

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Bohinj. The hotel is beautiful, modern, and thoughtfully designed with a strong eco-conscious approach that blends perfectly with the surrounding nature.

We stayed in a spacious Comfort room on the ground floor with a small garden terrace opening onto a grassy area. It was incredibly relaxing, especially waking up in the morning with views of greenery and mountains in the background.

Breakfast was excellent - a wide breakfast selection with options for everyone, including those with dietary restrictions or special preferences.

We also enjoyed afternoon drinks at the café, with comfortable outdoor seating overlooking the lake. Lake Bohinj is absolutely stunning - perfect for peaceful walks as well as more active hikes in the surrounding area.

Overall, a very peaceful and refreshing stay, we would definitely come back.

Very poor for its price

Wellness and parking

Cons:

Staff is not interested in solving your stay questions/problems. The hotel doesn’t have lake view - garbage bins view instead.

Aesthetic hotel but would prob stay elsewhere if we return to Slovenia in the future.
Pros:

The location was excellent for exploring lake Bohinj and had many places to eat within walking distance
Breakfast provided was great with lots of options

Cons:

Paid extra for a balcony room and was given one, but it was in the basement facing the parking lot.
Shower had no door so a large part outside of the shower gets wet as a result.
They provide felt slippers to be more eco friendly but the slippers have no grip and we ended up not using them.
The wellness facility needs to be booked in advance and can’t take walk ins. Dinner at the restaurant also requires reservations without which they are unable to accommodate. Works great for people who have v structured holidays but in our case where our itinerary is more fluid, it felt restrictive considering how much we paid a night for the hotel.

Were sorry to leave, hope to return.
Pros:

Exceptional breakfast, super friendly staff, beautiful design and decoration - light colored wood, large rooms, ecological hotel, close to the lake by foot, highly recommended.
We had 3 dinners in the hotel - good food but not cheap.

Cons:

Could use a stool in the bathroom.

Amazing, you won’t regret booking
Pros:

Everything !
-great location (it was right in front of the bus stop & great starting place for hikes )
- friendly staff that made us feel v welcomed
- lots of activities to get involved with
- loved the pillow menu
-relaxing atmosphere
-gorgeous views everywhere

Cons:

-would prefer if there was more clothing optional areas of the wellness centre rather than naked only.

A beautiful stay to explore the local area, with excellent service and amenities.
Pros:

Spa was amazing, loved that they limited the number of people there so there was always space to use the facilities you wanted. Room and view was beautiful and staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely too. Liked the outside space to sit and relax in too.

Cons:

Dinner menu was quite disappointing, there was a lot of red meat on the menu and it was quite pricey, however the food was very good.
Pillows were quite uncomfortable in the room.

Pros:

De houtstructuur van het gebouw was prachtig, de kamers zeer goed en het ontbijt erg lekker

Cons:

Jammer dat er niet een bar of een gezellige ruimte is om in de avond na te babbelen. De lobby is daarvoor toch wat onpersoonlijk en buiten was het nog wat fris.
