Good price for the size of the room but that's about it
Pros:

The size of the room, sea view room

Cons:

The smell of the room, very strange smell as soon As you enter the room. Poor quality tea tray with no milk and only one tea and some random biscuits.The room needs a good paint as lots of marks and scuffs on the walls etc. Dirty walls like drinks spilled up them. Very unorganised breakfast left to sort everything yourself, pastries and bread left out uncovered, no bowls or milk around for cereal so had to ask

Great location and clean.
Pros:

Location was great, staff were super friendly, rooms were clean.

Cons:

The lighting wasn’t very good in the rooms, it was very dark and the mirror and plugs don’t align so that made getting ready difficult. Also the insulation wasn’t good the people above were very noisy and we could hear everything they said. Including at midnight when one of them fell off the bed and it showered me in dust from the balustrades around the top of the bed (I did raise this as a concern to the owner who was really lovely)

Disappointing
Pros:

Location and beds were comfy.

Cons:

We paid for a themed room that had a bespoke sound system as the unique selling point and concept of the art themed b&b. This didn’t work and we raised this with the owner and another works later that day after the owner did nothing about it. It was never fixed nor were we offered a different room or refund. The heated towel rail also didn’t work and two main ceiling lights didn’t work.

Absolutely fantastic room the view was gorgeous and it's a real hidden gem - good distance and access to North Shore.

Lovely decoration, and comfy - a home away from home. We felt very comfortable, shower was brilliant and had a great sleep.

Modern, safe and fun!
