The hotel is good overall — everything was fine and I had a comfortable stay.

The design is really beautiful. Good materials, stylish interior, and the building itself looks great. The location is amazing — right in the center, but in a quiet part of it. I walked everywhere and absolutely loved how calm and slightly empty the area felt.

Soundproofing is generally good — I didn’t hear anything from the street or from neighboring rooms. You can hear doors slamming in the corridor sometimes, but that’s about it.

Cons:

The windows don’t open. I didn’t notice this in the photos there is an additional outer window installed, so you can’t actually open the main one. I assume it’s for safety, better soundproofing and heat insulation, which makes sense, but honestly it’s still a bit sad not to be able to get fresh air.

There is renovation work happening in the hotel right now. In general, that’s actually a good thing it means they are updating and improving the property, and I really appreciate that. But when I checked in, I was first given a room next to the one where renovation was happening. I went back to reception to ask about the working hours and found out construction starts around 8 AM, which is very early for me. I asked to be moved, and the staff member was helpful, showed me available rooms and we chose another one. After that everything was great. Still, I think something should be reconsidered here: either don’t place guests next to renovation rooms, or adjust the working hours so it doesn’t disturb visitors.

At check-in they asked how often I wanted housekeeping, and I said twice a day. In the end, my room wasn’t cleaned at all during my 5-day stay. That was strange.

Plastic cups in the room feel a bit strange considering the level of design and materials used everywhere else.

Some of the outlets in the room didn’t work. Because of that, I had to move the kettle to the desk, dry my hair near the table instead of the mirror, etc. The TV also seemed not to work I tried to turn it on but nothing happened.

The room is fine for one person, but I imagine it would be really tight for two people with suitcases.

Stylish stay
Pros:

Pros:

The property is really pretty, I love how they decorated. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the bar had delicious cocktails (we didn't try the restaurant), and the location was pretty good. There was construction nearby, which messed up some of the bus lines, so we often took an Uber, which was easy enough!

Cons:

The shower did leak out into the bathroom area, which wasn't ideal. They did provide slip on sandals though, which helped with the wet floor. There also weren't any hooks for wet towels, and though we were given hangers, there wasn't anywhere to hang clothing from, as the hangers sat just above the coffee machine.

We were blown away by the room! So beautiful. We treated ourselves to room service for dinner - so worth it food was delicious!

Great location, comfortable stay.
Pros:

Hotel is beautiful, well maintained, modern and very clean. Great amenities, and bed is very comfortable. In a great location, close to underground on the central line. Reception staff were lovely.

London is een geweldige stad en Hyde een prima hotel om te verblijven.
Pros:

Uitstekende Locatie met vriendelijk personeel

Cons:

Twee kamers geboekt waarvan er een niet beschikbaar was vanwege een storing in de elektra. Geen leuk nieuws maar wel opgelost door het personeel.
Twee dagen ondergebracht in een prima hotel op loopafstand. De derde dag was er een luxere kamer in Hyde beschikbaar waar we de laatste nacht hebben geslapen.
