Hotel Tembo Barcelona

We love TEMBO! Extended our stay we were so happy

Superb hotel. Excellent stay. Great location for the Conference center.
Check in was Natalia who was super helpful and welcoming. We were able to avail of early check in and this was amazing with our early flight arrival and our baby. It was amazing to get settled earlier.
The hotel breakfast is all you could ask for, gym is ideal also and the restaurant is great for Tapas. Would definitely stay again.

The menu at rooftop restaurant is quite limited. The area surrounding the hotel is quite safe. We don’t have hot water on the 3nd night. Can’t be bother to notify the maa as management.

Great new hotel in Barca, highly recommend!

Property was great for our family, but the description given was inaccurate. It was minimum 25 mins to any sites by car and the train station is not connected to the hotel, it is actually a 15 min walk . Do not stay here if you want to be close to attractions.

The property was very beautiful. The pool was stunning as well.
The location of this hotel is very far away from all of the attractions.

På dag to ble vi flyttet fra rommet pga en lekkasje vi ikke hadde lagt merke til. Vi fikk da en oppgradering og lagt inn gratis frokost resten av oppholdet. Servicen er hele tiden upåklagelig. Hyggelige ansatte overalt, hjelpsomme folk i resepsjonen, behjelpelig også med bagasje. Området rundt er roligere enn mange deler av Barcelona, men det er gangavstand til både bane, buss og trikk. Det er også kort vei til stranda.

Bassenget på taket var større enn det ser ut på bildene, men ble folksomt i helgene så vi. Restauranten på taket var god, hadde god mat til god drikke. Lager gode drinker.

Frokosten var upåklagelig! En god miks av varmmat, frukt og croissanter med mer. Litt bedre utvalg tidlig i frokosttidene.

Beste hotellet jeg har ligget på på lenge!

Staff was very pleasant, prompt and efficient. Jordi (concierge) was particularly notable for all 3 features listed above. Good old fashioned hotel service, not easy to find in this day and age.

This place exceeded my expectations. The sheets/bedding/pillows were super comfy, the memory foam sofa bed was perfect for my teen, and we loved having Netflix available.

The breakfast was great, and both the cappuccino from the buffet and the in-room Nespresso made morning coffee convenient. The location is perfect, and close to a mall with a big grocery store. The basement garage made parking easy, and the rooftop pool was amazing. Do not miss the views from the roof, you can see the Sagrada Familia from up there!

Each unit had a balcony that extends across the whole apartment, and the outdoor furniture on it was nice. The AC was cold, and all the fixtures and amenities made for a very nice stay.

The laundry room was super nice, I used it twice.

I will definitely choose Tembo when I return to Barcelona, it was clean and cozy and perfect for my little family. Thank you!

The 2-bedroom suite during Primavera Sound was worth every penny! Not only for the location (you can't put a price on a 5 minute walk to a festival where you stay up all night and want naps often!), but also the hotel in general.

The staff were amazing from the moment we got out of the cab. The plaza security made me feel better about late night comings-and-goings (this area doesn't feel unsafe, but as a woman alone at night, I appreciate the extra presence). The front desk man made check-in easy and I felt like I had a good idea of not only my room, but also everything in the hotel. Simone helped us take bags up and showed us all the ins-and-outs of our room and were very thankful for his help. All the cleaning staff was so nice and accommodating of our weird schedules and teenager who left clothes all over the place!

We did not get a chance to eat at any of the restaurants or use the pool, but we loved the neighborhood and had several good meals out and utilized our kitchen fully.

Trust me (as someone used to traveling on a tight budget) that this hotel is worth it, especially if you're in town for Primavera Sound! AirBnBs were few and far between and either more expensive or not great looking, and I am so happy we chose Tembo!

Very nice place to stay.

Arriver dans la chambre; télé allumée, lumière allumée. Sang séché sur les drap.
Durant le séjour, j'ai retrouvé la porte de la chambre ouverte et accessible à tout le monde. Manque d'information pour utiliser les appareils électroménagers (plaque de cuisson, micro-ondes). Complexité pour avoir un ascenseur. Seulement deux des quatre pouvaient me conduire au garage. Manque de signalétique pour accéder (ou remonter) au garage par les escaliers. Boissons non incluses. Prix de l'hôtel cher pour les prestations.

Really enjoyed our stay, all the staff are very helpful and friendly. Our room is great, very clean and had all the comforts you need. We enjoyed chill out on the roof bar. Really recommend staying if you are looking for a weekend break as it’s close to the Metro.

The only thing that bothered us was that the smell in the public spaces. It wasn’t overwhelming, but enough to make the space feel less fresh and a bit musty - damp mop.

People were lovely, spoke many languages, very helpful in getting us anything we needed to make us stay wonderful
