Tolles Hotel, an einmaliger Lage!
Pros:

Lage, schöner Spa und Möglichkeit im Sportzentrum zu Schwimmen, sehr freundliches Personal und wunderbares Frühstück. Wunderschön renoviert. Es war alles tipptopp!

INFORMATIONS BOOKING TROMPEUSES ET PRIX NON JUSTIFIE
Pros:

Chambres confortables et propres, l'hôtel ayant ouvert en décembre 2024.

Cons:

Attention : les 2 piscines mentionnées sur Booking n'appartiennent pas à l'hôtel, mais font partie du centre de sport municipal, accessible à tous et auquel les clients de l'hôtel ont simplement un accès intérieur. Nous sommes donc très loin des piscines privées que l'on attend d'un hôtel 4 étoiles.

Par ailleurs, le spa ne correspond pas aux photos : il est minuscule et la salle de repos a la vue bouchée par un talus.
Information importante non-précisée par l'hôtel : le spa est "tissue-free". Il faut y aller nu. Une serviette est mise à disposition mais n'empêche pas de voir la nudité des autres.
Petite précision : il est interdit aux moins de 16 ans.

Le pire a été la mauvaise foi de la réceptionniste qui, suite à nos critiques, a rétorqué que tout était indiqué sur leur site Web et qu'on n'avait qu'à vérifier !
Ce comportement est inadmissible : si on peut réserver sur Booking directement, toutes les informations présentes sur leur site doivent être reportées sur Booking. Ce n'est pas au client de croiser les informations !

Everything was great.
Pros:

Everything was perfect with a few small exceptions but they are not serious as for the most part everything was great.

Cons:

- The uncomfortable door to the toilet in the room is shaped like a train door. It's nice but it makes a lot of noise and doesn't close.
- New inconvenient trend at hotels where you are asked for a credit card. It's not something specific to this hotel, but nowadays when we all have phones, we practically don't carry physical cards anymore. The good part is that Apple Pay worked.
- As there is no phone in the room, communication is done through a mobile app but when I sent a message with a question, no one gave me an answer. So somehow this app is pointless.

Pros:

I absolutely loved this place. Obviously mürren is possibly the nicest village in the Swiss Alps but the murren palace is a gem. Massive history and now refurbished beautifully. Stayed in the modern block room 111 with two kids and it was fantastic. Very spacious, bunk beds for the kids, lovely facilities. Amazing views. The bar area was great, breakfast was very good. And of course it's in murren...

Cons:

Light switches require a PhD in astrophysics to understand (or a try your best and press buttons until you are happy approach). Dinner was nice but not exceptional - I wouldn't necessarily eat there every evening. Find the suppenalp mountain restaurant for lunch - now that is a gem..
