Nvt
Very cozy, including delicious breakfast and the possibility to walk around the forest and have a nice dinner in their restaurant

/ bv tomaten, komkommer , kaassoorten.
Lange wachttijd bij inchecken
The food was genuinely great. The location is hard to beat, right on the edge of the National Park de Hoge Veluwe, which makes it perfect if you want to get straight into nature.
The vibe is cozy but modern, which we liked a lot. It feels relaxed and comfortable rather than fancy. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful too.
While we’ve enjoyed staying here in the past, there were several points this time that left us disappointed.
First, the price–quality ratio does not feel right. We paid €258 (including breakfast) for one night for two people, and the room was extremely small. It was not located in the main Lodge building, but in the separate Woonhuis — something that was not clearly communicated in advance. For this price, we would have expected more comfort and amenities. There was no kettle or coffee machine, no minibar, and barely any proper closet space. Hanging clothes was difficult, and overall the room felt too compact for a comfortable stay. In addition, the room was poorly insulated and very noisy; we could clearly hear the upstairs neighbors throughout the evening, which was disruptive.
We also booked via Booking.com, where the distinction between the Lodge (the main building with the restaurant and lounge) and the separate building is not clearly explained. If you are booking, it’s worth paying close attention to this. Staying in the separate building means walking through the woods in the dark to reach the main facilities, which is not ideal, especially at night.
Another issue was communication regarding dinner reservations. Because we booked through Booking.com, we did not receive any reminder to reserve a table in advance. Upon arrival, only one table was available at 17:00. While the staff helped us find a solution, we were surprised that hotel guests do not automatically receive clearer guidance or priority when it comes to dining availability.
In general, the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly in resolving the dinner situation. However, when we shared our feedback about the room, the noise, and the Booking listing, the response felt dismissive. Being told that we “should have booked directly” did not feel constructive.
Very nice hotel in the middle of the trees. The staff is very kind and helpful.
I normally don't leave bad ratings. The problem with the "atelier" room is that the heating is inefficient. I was too cold and had to keep my pullover on to sleep. There is a problem of conception with the heat pump that was not installed in the right part of the room. Perhaps it would have been better on a warmer day...
Niets!

Séjour très agréable même en plein février
Leuke kamer in huis midden in het bos.
Je kunt direct mooie wandelingen maken over de Veluwe.
Lekker eten in het restaurant
mooie locatie
kleinschalig, mooi ingericht, superaardig personeel, goede bedden, badkamer, lekker eten
