Sand Hill On The Lake

Very quiet place, close to down town and on a beautiful lake.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the view of the lake is stunning. Dinner at The Getaway was delicious. A perfect location for relaxation and a romantic experience all around.

Nice comfortable clean room, good views of the semi secluded balcony. Easy entry with a code.
Had some other guests smoking on the premises which made it unpleasant to sit outside another guest playing loud music early in the morning. But without a physical person to manage the property I guess that’s gonna happen.
Could use a refreshing on interior, upholstered chairs changed out.
Also more info about having a coffeepot and microwave in the room in description and the common room w/ a gas grill.
We would stay here again. Great location off the beaten path

We loved everything about Sandhill. The lady who helped us ( May ) helped us throughout correcting Expedia's mistakes as they popped up from Expedia including not being able to get into the place. If not for May our trip through Expedia would of never worked out. Expedia is run by a bunch of incompetent moron's and we will recommend to everyone - AVOID USING THEM

Right off of Lake Como. Extremely quiet and beautiful. Room was very clean.

Beautiful, cozy property on the lake. Could use some maintenance though. A little power washing would go a long way. So many spider webs and bird droppings. Overall very nice property. Would definitely return.

We had a lake view cottage/room with fireplace and jacuzzi tub. It was perfect. It is outdated but still nice.

I stayed in the cottage and it was such a lovely experience. The room was quite large and the tub was huge, though it did slowly drain when full. Being right on the water was calming, but sound from the restaurant next door carried over the lake and there was a wedding going on. They ended early enough though they it didn't disturb my sleep.

The staff was wonderful. There was an air freshener in the room and I have migraines very sensitive to smell. They worked with me to ensure my visit was enjoyable and free from triggers. I would definitely stay here again.

Check in was very difficult. Did not get code to check in , as promised. Could not get ahold of anyone by emailing or calling. After a couple of hours , texted that number and was able to check in. Room was nice. Ř

Place was quaint and nice for a weekend getaway- we stayed in the 225 cottage. But similar to other reviewers, space was clean, but could definitely use upgrades in the porch and bathroom area to warrant the high summer cost.

Great little place on the lake! Self check-in was super easy. Awesome room. Will definitely be back!

Lakefront retreat with a great restaurant on the property . Easy parking , comfy bed and good views. Short drive to Fontana or Lake Geneva for more food options.

Nice place.

The room itself was ok. However, my husband and I couldn’t give it a higher rating because the air conditioning system was extremely loud. We were up most of the night because of the noise from the AC.
