bare minimum
Pros:

well the room was clean enough that we were able to sleep in the beds. we did not get mugged or attacked. we were not robbed.

Cons:

I rarely stay in motels or hotels so maybe I don't remember how hectic is has gotten but for the cost I was unpleasantly surprised- a cramped room with degraded and outdated decor. everything not very clean. the 'free breakfast' was like, dry sliced wonder bread and butter and cereal. we were told the hot water didn't work upon arrival which was a huge thing for us as we had basically gotten the room so we could all take hot showers but eventually the hot water did work. I don't know, if I was truly poor and desperate the room would have been just fine. everything worked and the sheets appeared clean. My wife said it was fine. I think given that a camping resort with pool and playground etc etc costs a similar amount for a night I somehow expected a similar level of amenities and this felt like staying in a prison cell.

Convenient Location but Safety Concerns
Pros:

The staff was attentive to my requests.

Cons:

The primary guest entrance after check-in was the back door, located near my room. Unfortunately, the door was not locked and was used frequently throughout the night, making it difficult to rest due to safety concerns and constant noise. Additionally, the washcloths had visible dirty fingerprints. The continental breakfast options were very limited—bran flakes or Froot Loops, aged apples and oranges, and sliced white bread—though the coffee machine was very nice.

Decent for the price I paid. Good value but would not stay here with my family for any extended amount of time.
Pros:

Very affordable. Close to amenities and the highway.

Cons:

Room doors did not close and lock automatically. Pillows were quite hard. Bed was on a squeaking box spring. Back door leading from the parking lock didn’t lock so anyone could walk in.

Staff was friendly easy check in

Cons:

The lobby was clean and that’s it. The room wasn’t properly cleaned . Stains on the sheets. You can tell the floors are not being cleaned. Mold in shower . Stains in the walls in bathroom. Hair on bath towels . I had to buy my own cleaning supplies and linen.

I was not allowed to check in because the front desk staff was friends or family of another red roof inn that I checked out of for safety purposes. So I had no where to stay and no money because the holds from my reservation I was not allowed to check in to. All during the snow storm.

Will never come back here again, wish I could get a refund but wont waste my time.

nothing, the front desk was disrespectful and didn't want to help with anything.

Cons:

Room was terrible and dirty, when asked could we have our room actually cleaned front desk said we could check out today and leave. and that we couldn't switch rooms until the next day which is crazy Roaches everywhere, hair all over the bathroom, our bed was not made at all.

Short and sweet
Pros:

Loved the location and surrounding.

Cons:

The room we stayed in had a few roaches dead and alive, with a bait trap to catch and kill them. Not really something you want to see in a room.
