Enttäuschend
Pros:

Ich kenne dieses Hotel schon sehr lange (seit 2003 aus der Zeit als es noch Courtyard Mariott war). Damals war es toll: Sehr gediegen, aber auch gemütlich, freundliche Farben, eine edle Bar und ein toller Frühstücksraum. Man hat es betreten und war entspannt, weil man von A bis Z von gehobener Gastlichkeit umgeben war.
Heute ist es trist, und hat die Atmosphäre einer Kantine. Das ganze nennt sich dann "urban". Ich war total enttäuscht.
Die Lage am Bochumer Stadtpark ist an sich gut. Allerdings befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe ein Krankenhaus und die Straße ist mit Kopfsteinpflaster belegt, so dass vorbeifahrfende Farhzeuge und ggf. Krankenwagen mit Sirene viel Lärm machen.
Das Zimmer und das Bad waren geräumig.

Cons:

Das Bad hat nur eine Badewanne mit einem sehr hohen Einstieg - keine Dusche. Da hinein zu klettern ist nicht ungefährlich und für ältere Personen oder Menschen mit Einschränkungen schwierig. In jedem Fall ist es sehr unkomfortabel.
Die Dichung der Duschewand war verschimmelt. Im Fensterrahmen des Fensters, das sich in der Dusche/Badewanne befindet, waren Rotalgen.
Die Minibar war nicht befüllt. Es gab für 2 Erwachsene nur eine Halbliterflasche Wasser - sonst nichts.
Das Bett hatte ein durchgehende Matratze, die bei jeder Bewegung des Partners so gewippt hat, dass der andere wach geworden ist.
