The male receptionist of the building was rude. He kept on insisting that I should provide him the room number. The over of the unit didn’t give us prior instructions. We waited in the lobby for 30 mins. until the caretaker of the unit arrived.

We weren't even given the change to stay in the hotel because they told me they had no rooms available UPON ARRIVAL for checkin.
I didn't like how they confirmed the booking but when we arrived, they said they had no more rooms, ONLY after when we had to find a way to call them via the OYO website. You have to register at the OYO website and all that just to reach them. The number displayed for contact on booking.com was not correct. No heads up whatsoever. We arrived at Avida confident it would be a speedy process (like all hotel bookings we've experienced so far). Staff was no help too. They wasted our time, energy, and resources in getting to the hotel expecting we could stay at their place. The LEAST they could do was inform us via CHAT/TEXT that no more rooms were available. Mind you, I even contacted them via booking.com a day BEFORE our check-in date to confirm their payment methods but I only received an automated message from OYO. That could have been their chance to inform us of their policies or give us a room number because this is a CONDO not an actual HOTEL building. No response from a real human about the situation. I expected that since our booking was confirmed and check-in time was after 2PM, we can check-in anytime after 2 and it would be at LEAST a first book/come-first serve basis and clearly, I was wrong. We had to find another hotel to stay at for the night last minute and it was raining hard that day too! What a waste of time.

Better use the cellphone number of the place to contact the owner/manager. Don't use messaging via app/site

We were denied entry‼️We had to walk for hours trying to find where the place is due to the owner being unresponsive. After finally finding the place, we had to wait 2 hours since the owner did not give a room number. After calling for hours we finally had a response only to be told that it was fully booked despite having booking confirmation. Please dont use bots in responding to us we had to walk under the rain and then wait for hiurs for your response.
