Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit außergewöhnlich freundlichen Personal! Jederzeit wieder!
Pros:

Wir waren leider nur 1 Nacht in Udawalawe und in diesem Hotel, aber würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend! Wir sind herzlich empfangen worden und haben gleich in der Lobby einen Welcome Drink (Wassermelonensaft direkt aus einer Wassermelone!) inkl. Früchteteller erhalten. Das Zimmer lag direkt neben dem Pool und war sehr geräumig. Der Pool war sauber und es gab auch einen Spielplatz. Das Abendessen war ebenfalls außergewöhnlich gut!! Wir hatten traditionell Reis&Curry und es wurde richtig viel für uns aufgetischt. Am nächsten Tag mussten wir früh zur Safari und haben zum einen kostenlos einen Transport zum Treffpunkt für die Safari erhalten (und wurden auch wieder abgeholt) und durften zum anderen danach noch frühstücken. Der General Manager Serasinghege C. Thushara war äußerst freundlich und hat mehrmals gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist und uns ebenfalls nett verabschiedet. Alles in allem ein richtig tolles Hotel, was wir sehr empfehlen können!

Nicest hotel staff we ever met, truly great Sri Lankan hospitality
Pros:

We had a big family room which was nicely furnished. AC working well. The hotel pool is perfect, lots of shade and sun beds/umbrellas. Pool towels were provided. The hotel is close to the entrace to the National park and elephant transit home. lots of nice restaurants within few minutes of tuk tuk drive.

What was truly exceptional about this hotel was the staff and the hotel manager. We were greeted with the fresh juices, our kids were offered ice cream/juices every day for free. When we arrived there was just a wedding finished in the restaurant area, and they offered us to get some food and cakes as well. All the staff were super friendly and nice to our kids and us. Hotel manager offered to drive us around all the time, which was very nice - we did not have to worry about ordering a cab or tuk tuk. He gave us his number so we could call him, when needed.

We had a medical emergency with our baby during the stay and he immediately offered to take us to the local hospital and kindly stayed during the whole time, translating everything and helping us get around. I can not thank them enough for their hospitality that went beyond the usual guest/hotel staff exchange. it was great experience of Sri Lankan kind people.

A nice hotel with good pool and buffet dinner
Pros:

The nicer rooms are situated around the pool, ask for one of these. Pool is great and buffet dinner was nice. The hotel were helpful in assisting us with getting our laundry done. They were very helpful when we asked to see an alternative room.

Cons:

There was a very noisy group of guests, but the hotel were great at shutting this down at 10pm. The first room we were shown in the main hotel was very tired and run down, hence we changed rooms.

Vi kommer igen og holder os til sektionen ved poolen - samlet set rigtig god værdi for pengene.
Pros:

Meget meget søde og hjælpsomme ansatte på dette hotel. Poolområder var virkelig dejligt - meget god value for money. Udawalawa nationalpark kun 10-15 min køretur væk (og man skal alligevel have en Jeep, så gå-afstand er ikke en prioritet). Autentisk mad i restauranten. Havde god snak med Lahiru N. G. (marketing manager) i receptionen, han har international erfaring og gode visioner for hotellet trods begrænsningerne i Sri Lanka. Trods begrænset engelsk kundskab hos nogle ansatte, opleves dedikation og stolthed for stedet tydeligt.

Cons:

I nogle hjørne halter rengøringen, men de fleste steder er det tip top. Nogle dele af hotellet virker ældre end det er (8 år). Vores family room (401) lå lidt afsides - næste gang skal vi have to værelser med balkon mod poolen!

Pros:

Pokój był w porządku, ale łazienka nie była idealnie czysta. Basen ok.

Cons:

Jedzenie słabe - kucharz nie wie co to spaghetti bolognese oraz carbonara na które czekaliśmy godzinę... Moje krewetki suche. Śniadania też słabe. Ogólnie hotel nie powinien mieć 5 gwiazdek bo jest to wprowadza w błąd. Byliśmy w wielu hotelach wcześniej na Sri Lance i ten był najsłabszy. Siłownia i droga na siłownię / brud wszędzie, niedziałające sprzęty i zapach stęchlizny.

Pros:

The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The entire hotel was beautifully maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming — they made us feel at home from the first moment.
Great atmosphere, excellent service, and a perfect place for families with children. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel!

Stay away!
Pros:

It’s a shame, it’s a badly kept and managed hotel. Photos make you believe it’s ok but certainly not a good place to stay

Cons:

First room we were taken did not have hot water, second room a/c didn’t work properly. Full of mosquitoes and dirty.

Fantastisk personal
Pros:

Personalen var fantastisk, maten var utsökt och deras egenodlade frukt var så god. Rummet var också rymligt. Trots att vi inte hade beställt frukost till safarin så ordnade dom frallor till sonen.

Cons:

Vi var bara där en natt för safari, så vi har egentligen inte så bra koll på själva området. Men vi var supernöjda med vår vistelse.
