Good
Fruit and yoghurt was exceptional.location in Fowey is No 1 best.
Restaurant was closed for us Sunday and Monday.
The staff were very friendly, the position of the pub was very central. The bedrooms were comfortable and did look like the pictures on-line.
The pictures on line of the bar/eating area were misleading. The pictures looked nothing like the real thing and it was all very tired and worn. The stair case going up to the bedrooms was very tired and worn and the carpets were badly stained. We were not informed before arriving that the menu was not available and there would only be tapas.
The staff were great
Location was stunning, building was immaculate and well decorated in up to date styles (lots of inspiration for home).
Breakfast was clearly made up of fresh, local ingredients. Nothing too much trouble to provide when requested.
Hearing the lapping of waves on the shore in the early morning was magical.
Would definitely be staying again, highly recommend.

Paid for bed and breakfast, but breakfast it not start until 8.30 which is no good for business stays like me We had to reach at 8 and feel we overloaded for the stay

Access to the hotel was not good the dirty carpets and not able to open the bedroom windows
Room was lovely! Wasn’t expecting the mini fridge with some treats in which was a nice surprise! Staff were super friendly too
Was unfortunate that there wasn’t really parking at the hotel - but that can’t be helped!
Location and view over the river from our room
Despite having paid and could show the booking.com payment on the app, payment was taken again. All satisfactorily resolved by the manager after the event.
Being scammed for £1000. I was charged £400 twice. My mails to booking.com bounce back the hotel promise to sort it … over a week later still being robbed by booking.com (no reply)!

right in the middle of fowey so perfect.

There was no blind up to the bathroom window...it was a large floor to ceiling window...although obscured glass it doesn't obscure completely and there was a function opposite us in the town hall on similar level (3rd floor up)
