A very special hotel in Sidmouth.
Pros:

The Hotel Riviera is a classy hotel situated on the sea front in Sidmouth with great views. It is in the town of Sidmouth which is, itself, delightful with many interesting, independent shops.
Nothing was too much trouble in this hotel. The service was first class by happy friendly staff. The rooms are quiet, warm, comfortable and attractive, with cleanliness obviously paramount. The food was very special and impressed us immensely.
This hotel isn't cheap but worthy every penny and we wouldn't hestitate to go back there.
One tip, there is limited car parking which it's advised to book in advance.

Best hotel in Sidmouth
Pros:

No hesitation in recommending this hotel for a stay in Sidmouth. Quiet accommodation and luxury bedding to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. Walk in shower, spacious and clean bathroom with top quality towels. Friendly, professional staff. A real pleasure.

Lovely relaxing break
Pros:

We booked a four night break which we can honestly say was faultless in every way. The food, room and staff we couldn’t fault and will definitely visit again, nice little town with ample to keep us occupied.

Excellent for easy access to all local amenities.
Opposite the beach and a good patio to eat or have tea watching people walking by on the esplanade.

Very nice location and very nice view
Pros:

Location was good and we were upgraded to have a sea view. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Didn't eat in the restaurant as it seemed very quiet and lacking in people.
Maybe due to high cost.
Bathroom was a bit dated and controls for the shower looked complicated

Not a bad hotel really but don’t think I would stay again as it wasn’t my choice in the first place
Pros:

I didn’t have the breakfast it was too expensive!
£22 wow

Cons:

My single bed was a nightmare. But the room was lovely and really clean.
Water pressure was terrible, from the taps and the shower.
Water was also only warm not hot.
