Nice Hostel near the beach
Pros:

It was not too busy at the pool and quite in the night. I met a nice group of people the first evening at the introduction event. It was nice to have some exchange.

Cons:

For a towel I had to pay 90 pesos extra. For the relatively high price for the night it should be included like it usually is. Also selling locks for the luggage locker is unnecessary. Just have a number lock on every locker instead of trying to charge extra for everything.

Je ne recommande pas pour un séjour calme

Les cours de yoga gratuits étaient agréables

Cons:

C'est un hostel de type party/resort.
La musique joue toute la journée, elle arrête à 23h, mais cela dit je n'ai pas été chanceuse, ce type de place attirent des gens qui aiment le party et rentrent très tard et bruyamment dans la chambre.

Si vous prévoyez un séjour tranquille en bord de plage, je vous conseille un endroit plus intime.

Le ménage de la cuisine est fait vers 9hrs le matin donc il arrivait que ça soit sale pour faire son déjeuner.

J'ai réservé avec Booking, j'ai écourté mon séjour de 3 nuits et l'établissement n'a pas offert de crédit ou d'ententes... j'ai parler à quelqu'un en personne de mes mécontements et les suivis en ligne n'ont jamais eu de retour....

GEZELLIG!
Pros:

Het is een erg sociaal hostel, iedereen is welkom. Er worden veel activiteiten georganiseerd waardoor je je al gauw thuisvoelt. Muziek is tot 23u dus dat is erg prettig wanneer je geen partyanimal bent.

Cons:

De badkamer was prima, maar er lagen wat haren op de vloer in de douche. Het is simpel. Alles wat je nodif hebt is er, maar het is niet erg esthetic.

Zeer teleurstellend & onvriendelijk personeel
Pros:

De locatie is dicht bij het strand.

Cons:

Wij verbleven hier 3 nachten en dit was zonder twijfel een van de slechtste ervaringen van onze reis. Boek vooral géén privé-/“deluxe” kamer: deze was ronduit vies. De hele kamer rook naar vocht, de douche was niet schoongemaakt (haren in het putje), lekte constant en alles bleef nat. Vieze lakens, handdoeken en muren (zie foto’s). De kluis werkte niet en ondanks twee keer vragen is dit nooit opgelost.

Wat het echt onacceptabel maakt is het personeel. In 3 maanden reizen door Zuid-Amerika hebben we nooit zo’n onvriendelijk personeel meegemaakt. Ze kijken je niet aan en blijven op hun telefoon bezig terwijl je tegen ze praat. Onbeleefd, onbehulpzaam en arrogant, precies zoals ook in meerdere negatieve reviews staat. We voelden ons totaal niet welkom om überhaupt iets te vragen.

Ter vergelijking: we verbleven eerder bij Viajero Arequipa (Peru), waar het personeel heel vriendelijk was. Daar werd ons verteld dat we met onze Viajero-bandjes 10% korting zouden krijgen bij een volgend verblijf. In Puerto Escondido werd hier niets mee gedaan, geen korting of ook geen enkele vorm van compensatie. Toen we dit aankaartten, werd letterlijk gezegd dat we maar een slechte review moesten schrijven.

Zeer teleurstellend. Niet boeken.
