New guy at reception has the worst customer service ever wont be going back
Cons:

Hard bed, no duvets an old blanket, sink was dirty. Ive been staying here for years before you changed owners and the worst experience ever. Debra was excellent friendly. New staff Asian guy at reception had the worse service ever will not be returning back sad really as it WAS a nice place.

Thought the place was great, and Mr Pickles was just delightful and worth going just to meet him.
Pros:

Location was great, right across the road from the mall. Easy to get around and parking was brilliant.

Cons:

The room was a little noisy, if a really loud car went past you could hear it.

Central location in Lower Hutt

Cons:

Overall tired appearance. Bathroom was refurbished and clean and tidy but the room meant to accommodate two people had only one ancient broken lounge chair to sit on plus desk chair. Windows single glazed and frame very draughty on a Wellington windy day. Common hallways needed a vacuuming. Bed had no electric blanket and room heating depended solely on an inefficient fin oil heater.

The 2 ladies on the reception were so helpful and welcoming.
Pros:

The bacon was crisp and tasty.

Cons:

The scrambled egg was not very nice but the 2nd morning was better.We noticed on the continental display there was left overs from our function the night before.The cheese and meats were curled at the edges.Not a healthy option.
