Good location and
Got caught in stormy weather after ferry was cancelled - room was warm and cosy. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Customer service overall was amazing first time I came back to NZ for 20 yrs and I Aroha how the hotel is starting to do Renovations staff were absolutely amazing and the restaurant Kai was fabulous
Having a bar would have been nice I had a catchup with school friends so we ended up going down to petone would have been great to see the Angus still have this facility

Took money from debit card adding a surcharge despite wanting to pay by eftpos. I offered to pay on arrival and was.told to pay later
The room was exceptional, modern, spacious and huge. The bathroom was also newly fitted out with modern big shower, toilet and anti fog mirror. Lovely clean room. Bed was so comfy and big. I was also given a $15 credit voucher for if I dined in their restaurant that evening.
When I turned up the outside looked a bit run down but then saw the sign saying the whole place is currently being refurbished. I walked into my room and wow! It was beautiful they have done the rooms first and the exterior is next.

It was okak! Very quite!
Bar did not open until 2.00pm and meals until 4.30pm. For people travelling who had been on the road all day, we went elsewhere for both, so we could have a very early night.
For the price I paid I was expecting a lower level of facilities - really good value.
The shower head was too low and not height adjustable (I'm 5'10" so not tall)
Accessibility and space
Location was great. Walk to the Mall across the road. Good space in the room.
It was quite noisy. Renovation in progress. Nice meals in the restaurant but didn't have any of the tap beers listed in the menu.
Good car parking off street
The beds were a little hard and the street noise was at times awakening.
