Close to my venue fir Saturday
Cold, no Sky TV but said there was. Just not cosy. It says it’s a hotel but has none of the things hotels have like tissues, Sky,

In the middle of renovations but will be great when finished
Comfy king size bed. Great shower. Good size room. Friendly staff. They checked us in early. Close to Queensgate shops and supermarket. Restaurant on site serves excellent food.

Despite the weather the facility temperature throughout was very comfortable. Not cold and not overheated.
The food. Rather disappointing. Dining room staff and surroundings great, but food not very well cooked, very limited menu-average to boring.
The decor is a little bit dated but it looks like significant refurbishment is underway.
The only issue for me was a very patchy wifi connection.

So accommodating in terms of our extra needs. And very adaptable when our needs changed.
It was originally just 1 room for two adults, then it changed to 2 rooms for 4 adults and a baby.
Plus the coffees in the morning in the restaurant we're exceptional. I had two in a row they were that good.
Plus the power points at the tables nearest the walls are such cool idea! I really needed to charge my phone while working and it was so very helpful.
The construction was a little bit annoying, but the plans to navigate them were explained well.
I didn't just like, i loved how clean and comfortable the room was. The details for late check in was good. The heat pump in the room made it comfortable when it got cold during the night and i have to mention the breakfast was absolutely delicious especially the mushrooms. The reception lady was so kind happy and helpful also. Thanks we loved our stay, and will stay again in the future.

Very clean room and handy location to local mall and eateries.
No cutlery in room. I had a takeaway meal and had nothing to eat it with. Went to hotel restaurant and borrowed cutlery.

The "accessible" room I asked for was not that accessible. It did have step free access to the shower and a grab rail, but the toilet was not at accessible height and there was no grab rail. The bathroom itself was very tight with no room to easily transfer from walker to toilet. It would have been impossible from a wheelchair.
The door into the room was narrow - a wider door would have been better. And the accessible room access was past the laundry trolleys outside the laundry, making the corridor narrow. Perhaps they could be kept IN the laundry room!
And specifically in my room, the fridge was super noisy - thanks for changing that after hearing about it. A light was out and a pair of electrical plugs were not working. There was also no overhead light in the sleeping end of the room, just reading lights on the bed head and a desk lamp across the room in the desk.
I would have appreciated my family member being in an adjoining room, but despite asking well in advance, this did not happen.
The Restaurant always has the best food!
Unfortunately, WiFi was a bit intermittent due the renovation.
Close to shopping mall, receptionists was lovely, very helpful, loved that we could get room service, definitely staying again.
Was hard to find at night time.
I think the experience of this hotel depends on what you pay and what you need. It has been great value for money the several times I have stayed and I was really happy with it.
For me as a business traveler it's really helpful having reception open to 11pm, I'm often arriving late.
Also great having a restaurant on site. Saves having to go out hunting something to eat.
Some of the rooms are older, but clean and tidy, some are newer and refurbished.
No aircon in most of the rooms I've stayed in. Might be uncomfortable in summer.
Rooms downstairs facing the carpark can get a little bit of noise from outside. Nothing too bad.
