Very welcoming & professional.
Pros:

Best place I’ve stayed in Pretoria in a long time. Host & staff are all very accommodating and extremely friendly. The house is perfect, breakfast was fresh and the facilities very very nice.

This is an incredible place to stay which catered to our every need
Pros:

We enjoyed the facilities and the view. The host and her staff were very accommodating, especially when it came to the vegan breakfast.

Cons:

There is nothing we didn't like. However, we would have enjoyed a hair dryer in the room.

In general, it was a very pleasant stay.
Pros:

Toasted bread with eggs, tomato and cheese. I left before breakfast but the staff was kind enough to pack the food for me.

Cons:

The constant tripping of electricity. The staff moved us to a different room but the electricity tripped in the new room as well. The hotel must get it fixed.

Eine große Villa in ruhiger Lage mit dem Potenzial zu einer guten Unterkunft. Große Räume, guter Blick

Cons:

- Es ist kein Personal im Hotel während der Nacht und über weite Teile des Tages. Support bei Bedarf erst am nächsten Tag. Da hilft es nur zum Teil, dass der Manager und seine Mitarbeiter durchaus freundlich und persönlich angenehm sind.
- Gravierende Sicherheitsmängel, die ich hier nicht detailliert beschreiben will. Aber ich wäre als Fremder mühelos in der Lage gewesen, von der Straße bis in jedes (!) Zimmer vorzudringen.
- Das Hotel gewährte mir einen Tag nach der Stornierungsfrist mit Kulanz die Stornierung des letzten von vier Tagen meines Aufenthalts. Seit vier Wochen fordere ich vergebliche die Rückerstattung meiner Überzahlung, mit inkompetenten und verantwortungslosen Antworten des Hotels.
- Die Lage im Villenviertel ist luxuriös, lässt aber keine Aktivitäten in der näheren Umgebung ohne Auto zu.
- Die 5-Sterne-Bewertung ist nicht nachvollziehbar. Sie basiert offenbar auf der Größe und dem Wert des Mobiliars. Wer kolonialen Habitus liebt, wird es mögen. Mir wären praktische Ausstattung und verlässlicher Service viel wichtiger gewesen. Es gibt in Südafrika zahllose private 4 und auch 3 Sterne Unterkünfte, die in dieser Hinsicht viel besser sind, ebenso viele Hotels

I highly recommend this charming boutique hotel. The owner, Pad, was incredibly welcoming and even went out of her way to buy specialty vegan food for my colleague.

The house is beautiful and the location is excellent. Each room is decorated with attention to detail. We particularly enjoyed the balcony.

We stayed for nearly a week but could have easily stayed a month. Each morning, we were treated to a new breakfast surprise, and Pad would often join us to share some of her fascinating life stories.
