Charming small hotel with a beautiful courtyard and friendly staff.
Pros:

A great budget-friendly spot just a block off the main plaza of San Jose. The room was comfy but the courtyards really beautiful and accommodating. Secure parking was easy. Staff extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Special call-out to Allison and Ricardo.

Cute and cozy hotel with good location
Pros:

The hotel has nice design and great location. We enjoyed how hotel shares its history in the small details. Also, we appreciated the work of ceiling fan which was enough even without AC.

Way too noisy!
Pros:

Nice place

Cons:

Noisy, noisy, noisy. A rock band playing so loud til 1.00 am. Then a bunch of people talking loudly, banging doors, you can hear everything as there is no soundproofing.. If you don’t mind sleeping til after 2.00 am it’s a good place but if sleep is important choose elsewhere.
