Pros:

Cons:

The tv didn't work the bathroom plug was to small the towel rail was hanging off the toilet moved when you sat on it quiet abit the bed was uncomfortable the heating was non existent

Poor value for money dirty and in need of major maintenance
Pros:

Location was good about a 20-30 min walk too the pier

Cons:

We stayed in rooms 9 and 16 second floor side sea view
Bed was awful very hard , there was a set of draws that didn’t even function the draws were just left on the floor, bathroom was dirty windows filthy, The breakfast was continental which we didn’t bother too stay for, I asked the stay too clean the floor in the bar/breakfast area as it was covered in food,but he didn’t bother, tables and chairs falling apart and table tops very sticky, unfortunately I would not stay there again free of charge,

Not at all satisfied with the room. Not worth the price. £.90 for such room was not worth for price.

The staff was friendly. View from sea front room.

Cons:

Wasn’t that clean. The Victorian style interior didn’t meet the expectations. Also the vibe in the room felt very weird and not fresh. The curtains, table, corners of the toilet, carpet were not clean

Pros:

OKAY ITS NOT THE HILTON BUT ON A LIMITED BUDGET IT WAS JUST FINE FOR ME,STAFF WERE GREAT,BED COMFY,LARGE TV,GOOD SHOWER,EASY PARKING OUTSIDE FOR FREE,GREAT LOCATION.

Disappointed and would not book again
Pros:

Brilliant location. Breakfast disappointing, bread and crumpets were not fresh daily and the fruit displayed for consumption was of poor quality. Option of tinned or fresh fruit salad would have been welcomed and when individual portions of marmalade were used they were not replenished

Cons:

Breakfast as above. No member of staff was available when checking out. There was a constant smell of cooked cabbage in the hotel. Bins were not emptied in our room

Good location and staff are friendly, however the quality and cleanliness of the room is poor.
Pros:

The location was brilliant, and the staff were really friendly on arrival and check out. Wifi was also pretty reliable, and the hotel was quiet.

Cons:

I stayed in a single room and the bedding had stains on it and there was an awful smell to the room. It was also really uncomfortable warm, despite it being october and the radiator being off. The beds are also not comfortable, with squeaky frames and only one very thin sheet on top the mattress and one very thin pillow.

Cheap hotel as expected but clean with friendly staff which was all that i needed for a few days.

Cons:

No hand towel provided, pillow as thin as a piece of paper so had to ask for another one. No plug in sink, requested one but not provided.

If you get a Basement room run away as quick as possible.
Pros:

Nice location near the sea front.

Cons:

Staff didn't seem to have a clue what was happening, just the basics of trying to get a drink at the bar was a struggle.
Room looked like it hadn't been hoovered for months and the blind was broken. Whole place needs some serious TLC. I would look elsewhere before even considering this Hotel.

Unclean but big, with zero customer service.
Pros:

The room was very big with big windows. We were provided with clean towels and bed sheets.

Cons:

The shower was so dirty with orange splotches that I didn’t want to use it. Its side panel was also falling off, and the toilet had not been cleaned. The plug socket was falling out of the wall, which is dangerous. There were flies in the room and dirty stains and spills all over the carpet, wall and furniture.
We had booked a check-in time, which had been confirmed via email and phone call. When we arrived, no one was there and no one would pick up the phone. It took an hour before someone told us that our room door would be unlocked with the key inside for us to find.

The state of the room from health and safety aspect spoilt the holiday completely.
Cons:

Our room should of been condemned. Health and safety reasons. Our sea view room had damp on the ceiling which just been painted over. The temp being cool then warm had paint dropping down through the room and in powdery form as well,spreading through the room. Do not need to say anymore.

Very poor and not worth the price

Cons:

Room standard poor,material and holes in bed exterior,wardrobe looks like it’s about to fall apart,seems like it’s new owners that have a lot to take on to make rooms worth the price,I don’t think the room standards at the moment are worth more that £35 per night yet I paid £80 which is very excessive for the standard and you have to pay extra for breakfast in a tatty bar that looks dirty and literally no stock in the bar when you ask for a drink and when you do request a drink on the advertised menu the staff have not got a clue what you mean,a very poor experience

Disappointing
Cons:

Curtains were falling down. The room didn’t look like it did in the pictures. The bar area was not comfy. Struggled to park.
