This was probably one of the worst hostels i have stayed in (and i've slept in A LOT of hostels in Asia and never complained about any!!). It is nothing like the pictures, it is disgusting. When i first arrived the room was so bad it probably didnt get cleaned for ages, no TP in bathroom, so many spiders and flyes, everything dirty, bed had stains from shoes, hair on it, i was hearing screaming from outside the whole night, it was so freezing i didn't sleep and the bathroom was so disgusting i didnt feel okay taking a shower (after traveling for two days i was really looking forward to that).
I never leave bad reviwes but this situation was unacceptable. Think twice before you book this
It’s bit far away from airport
Bed was comfortable to sleep in.
Room was spacious.
Staff was nice and helpful.
Only paid 4$ USD per night, worth it for the price and traveling light or willing to lug luggage for it.
The toilet was in decent condition, could be cleaner.
The wifi was terrible.
The location is pretty isolated, have to walk far.
Did not like booking.com automatically reviewing for me, gave location at perfect 10. It's a 6.

Everything very not hygenic, rest room are in bad condition, the room is dirty, the beddings is not in good condition, the lockers had bad smell and is not i. Good condition.
No proper maintenance. No wifi. No bidet.
Turns out to be a lot closer in the main business district area because of a shortcut not visible in google maps. Staff are friendly. I was also lucky to have shared the room with only one female and we were in switching schedules. Reception from first day was nice to have let me leave my backpack there and return for it in the evening.
1. It could have been nice to mention a 1k php deposit before checking in.
2. Too many mosquitoes (i wish im exaggerating)
3. Shortcut to main business district exists but it’s shady if you’re not used to live outside the BGC bubble
4. Other tenants are indians, bangladeshis, and the likes. Overall they are nice and peaceful, but because probably the space in the rooms are confined, they loitered around the area because there isnt any lounge in the hostel.
5. There was a bucket catching drips of water in the reception - for three days straight when i was there
6. Lockers inside the rooms are available but you gotta bring your own lock - would be nice to have this mentioned as well
7. Bathroom door at the time i was there couldnt close - i ended up using the office showers the entire stay.
