The view is absolutely stunning! There's quite a big difference in rooms. Some of the rooms are completely renovated (specially the bathroom) and others are not. We got lucky and received a brand new room, but friends of ours didn't and the bathroom was in real need of renovations. The reception isn't always that friendly, but overall we had a very nice stay, the view (such a beautiful bay) and breakfast (what is wonderful, by the way) make up for those little inconvenients

The only positive point was the beautiful view of the beach and sea. The hotel is so overpriced compared to the quality of the service. The beds in the rooms are not comfortable, pillows are hard and have me neck pain throughout the stay. The staff at the hotel was ok but could be improved as this is a 5 star hotel and didn’t feel like it. There was no entertainment at the hotel which was kind of boring at some point. Food and drinks were very expensive and there were not a lot of choice. The menus at the two restaurants on site were outdated and didn’t even care to have the appropriate menu available for the guests. Result , everything you were ordering was either not available or did not do it anymore which was very frustrating. I ordered a chicken breast meal on the menu and was given something else with an undercooked chicken which is NOT ACCEPTABLE ! It’s too bad this hotel is not giving what they advertised for. I don’t recommend this hotel .

Nous avons passé un super séjour

O hotel é excelente e dentro dos padrões albaneses de atendimento posso dizer que tivemos um bom atendimento. Quarto limpo e a vista incrível. O café da manhã é muito bom. E o grande diferencial do hotel é o beach club com praia privativa do hotel com uma das melhores praias que conhecemos durante nossa viagem.

Beim Check-In standen wir nicht im System trotz Buchung. Das Standardzimmer entspricht nicht den Bildern auf der Webseite. Das Badezimmer benötigt eine Renovierung. Die Scharniere an der Duschtür sind verrostet, die Türklinke hat Korrosionsschäden. Das Duschgel von Rituals ist flüssig. Sieht aus als würde man es mit Wasser strecken. Die Schranktüren kann man nicht öffnen, da die Scharniere zum Abbrechen drohen. Sehr dunkles Badezimmer sowie Schlafraum. Die Leuchten an der Decke waren defekt. Am schönsten ist der Strand gewesen, aber von einem Standardzimmer würde ich abraten. Es ist nicht das Niveau eines 5-Sterne Hotels. Auf der Terrasse soll man sich mit drei Standardzimmer einen Tische und zwei Stühle teilen.

The trip was amazing, which was a result of a good hotel and weather. Staff are welcoming and supportive. The service is 10/10 would recommend to family and friends

People that work there are over satisfied for themselves and they make sure not to serve the guests at all. Everything we requested was refused and no choice is given (ie. main restaurant doesnt have a child seat). I booked the room with a bath tub-there was no bathtub. Beach that was dedicated for hotel guest even though we went at 8 am there had all two first rows “booked”-when asked if we can reserve for tomorrow,answer was they are “booked”.
This was my visit in south of Albania after 11 years-going again back soon-after another 10 years, by than they have learned hospitality hopefully!

Hotel localizado a cerca de 25 minutos de carro de Himare. Possui ótima estrutura com beach club e praia. Excelente café da manhã.

They need a gym,other than that it’s fine

Beautiful location. Great pool area. And a scuba diving centre on site.

But next time I will upgrade the room. The basic room is huge. But the view is the best part so worth upgrading to the sea view.

Also, the pool restaurant is the best.

Ich kann dieses Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen und würde selbst kein zweites Mal hierher reisen.
Der Strand und die Location ist top und auch schön der Rest hingegen lässt sehr zu wünschen. Es ist überteuert, eine reine abzocke, man zahlt für eine Pepsi €5! Sauberkeit wird hier nicht grossgeschrieben. Das Personal sucht sich aus, beim wem sie freundlich sind und bei wem nicht, die Gäste werden hier klar kategorisiert. Sie sind genervt, wenn man etwas bestellen möchten und haben auch keine geduld mit den Gästen.
Am Strand legt ein DJ den ganzen Tag auf, die Menschen sind hier unötig ausgeputzt, also nehmt alle eure Designersachen und Schmuck mit, damit ihr, hier reinpasst! Die Angestellten sind einfach snobs.
Beim Checkout, wollten sie mir noch €12 für zwei Redbulls verrechnen, obwohl wir diese nicht getrunken haben. Ich hatte nur diese vom Kühlschrank rausgenommen um mein Wasser da drin zu stellen! Das Personal hat nicht gegrüsst. Ich bin nur enttäuscht und für mich ist das auch kein LUXUSHOTEL!!
Der Weg hierher ist mühsam, es zieht sich in die Länge.

Ikke helt 5-stjernet niveau på alle parameter

Vi havde glædet os til vores ophold, og overordnet set havde vi en god oplevelse på hotellet. Dog var der flere punkter, hvor vi oplevede, at stedet ikke helt levede op til de 5 stjerner – eller til prisen for en overnatning.

Ved ankomst
Da vi ankom, blev vi informeret om, at vi var for tidligt på den – værelset ville være klar kl. 15. Det havde vi naturligvis styr på, men logistikken i forhold til vores transport gjorde, at vi ankom tidligere.
Vi savnede en mere imødekommende velkomst. F.eks. en venlig “velkommen” og tilbud om at benytte faciliteterne, indtil værelset var klar – sådan som man ofte oplever på hoteller i samme kategori. Receptionen er meget lille, og vi blev ikke tilbudt noget at drikke ved ankomst, hvilket havde været rart i varmen.

Rengøring og fællesarealer
Hotellet fremstår meget pænt og rent. Personalet gør rent hele dagen – især udendørsarealerne bliver passet godt på, hvilket giver et godt indtryk. Det er tydeligt, at der ligger en natklub på hotellet, og det giver god mening, at rengøringen starter tidligt om morgenen.

Strandområdet
Vi var meget tilfredse med servicen på stranden. Der er mange medarbejdere, og det er nemt at bestille mad og drikke – og det bliver serveret hurtigt. Personalet her var særligt venlige og opmærksomme.

Værelset
Hotellet er bygget op af flere forskellige “kasser”, hvilket gør, at værelser og altaner varierer meget. Vi var heldige og var rigtig glade for både vores være

Infrastruktur, Wasser Top... Service schrecklich. Alles muss 2-3 mal bestellen. Schirme werden nach Wichtigkeit der Gäste Reserwiert.
Beim Früchstück kommen die meisten halb nacht so Palma style. Erste Kafe ist inkl zweite musste ich zahlen. Es ist richtig Billig. Wir wollten 4 Tage verbringen sind aber 2 Tage weg. Es ist alles sehr Teuer. Nicht empfelenswert.

Der Strand ist mega, die Einrichtung jedoch sehr wenig Auswahl beim Essen

We had high expectations going to Folie Marine… however, even though the facilities look good and nice, the experience was horrible! The staff can be rude and don’t care about accommodating you. The hotel arranges events sometimes but they never tell you about them which normally should be the case. They have their own clientele which are pretty much local and they only care about them. Tourists are kinda not treated as much as their own high end local customers. I won’t even talk about the prices within the hotel which are just crazy!!! Overall… wouldn’t recommend. You wanna have fun in Albania with nice beaches and nice people: just stay in Ksamil.

Nice hotel but not 5* service. Yes the location is a great spot, they have some glamorous big rooms with sea side views and jacuzzi but it's the service which makes a property 5* that was just lacking. It felt nothing special to what we had elsewhere. It is also becoming very broken and uncared for in places that haven't been maintained well. Although gardening was great and cleaners did nice job in room. Even standard room in middle with no view were a good size.

Upon arrival you get no guidance on map of property and where places were, how the pool works etc. We spotted a map as we left.
Drinks and food as expected were expensive but their little restaurant in bottom was nicely priced and the staff were excellent. Limited other food in public beach area so have to try drive elsewhere.

However breakfast was the best we have had anywhere. It was delicious and hot, varied and healthy. Could not fault them on any of the bits.

Parking really easy but signage is bad you have to go to bottom and drive through soleil hotel entrance and up the hill to car park at back. There is another back beach entrance but isn't clear it's for hotel.

The hotel is a new concept, very modern. The facilities are great, with direct private beach access, a pool, and three small jacuzzis. There is a large restaurant area and a bar zone.
The food was the second best thing, extremely good. Great margarita and good selection of wines! Yet, there are no snacks between 5-8PM, just club sandwich or beef burger.
At the beach, the beach beds are assigned based on your room band, which seems unfair, and some beds are reserved for the hotels owner's family it seems.
It was extremely difficult, almost impossible, to communicate with the staff who speak barely any English. On one occasion, we paid in cash and gave a large tip, and 6 hours later a different waiter came to ask for more money because he said we hadn't paid the full amount for one single drink. After asking them to check, they said it was a mistake.
In the room, the ocean view was blocked by a large fan and trees. Also, the light switches should have some code or labels as it takes a lot of trial and error to figure out.
It's a shame that with great facilities, the staff is the worst part. No English, everyone does their job as if they hate it and are in a bad mood, and it's impossible to get anyone's attention to get service. Between food service times, the approx. 20 guys who work around the beach areas (no women) just gather around chatting or on their phones instead of looking after guests, and have bad attitude if you approach them to get anything.
