Love Yantai & the Golden Beach!
Pros:

Excellent cordial nice hotel~! It's right across from the beach/sea: Yantai's GOLDEN BEACH PARK!! Check in was very fast, that was nice! Then 2 bottles of water are provided every day when the housekeeper is cleaning your room. Gym is available to use 24/7 & it's located right next to the front desk on the 1st/ground floor. Then Shout Outs to the housekeeper lady from Heilongjiang on the 5th floor! She was very kind then helped to clean the room. Safe is located in the room so you can put your valuables in there. Breakfast is alright too. I loved the mini fridge in my room in which I can store my food)) Excellent~! & also, I'm very happy that this hotel is NON-SMOKING~! In a lot of the hotels in China especially in the Shandong & Liaoning provinces, there's lots of $%^* who smoke in the hotels! Therefore, I'm very satisfied to see this is non-smoking.

Cons:

Some random dude got drunk & created a scene in the corridour on the 5th floor around 11:45PM! But this has nothing to do with the hotel nor the front desk. I called front desk immediately to take care of this. Then everything was OK. Only con for me, it's the location is right by the beach, but there aren't that many restaurants around here & no banks nor convenience shops either...you'll need to walk down south 1.2km to reach the next available convenience shop or restaurant.

Pros:

Reception, restaurant and housekeeping staff are all very professional and welcoming. The check-in and check-out procedure was fast, my room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. The beach is literally in front of the hotel you only need to cross the street. The surroundings are relaxing and several small coffee shops/milktea shops can be reached by foot. Seafood restaurants nearby are good, with decent portions and affordable prices. Major attractions are reachable by taxi. The Yantai Shiguang Ta is just a 5min drive and Chaoyang Street is about 20min drive. The airport is about 45min away.
