Comfortable stay in Sheffield
Pros:

The room was a great size, clean and comfortable. Even though our room faced the front on the hotel which looked out on to the road it was quiet. The staff were lovely and helpful when asking for places to eat. There was limited parking behind the hotel but we managed to get a space every time we came back to the hotel so that wasn't an issue.

Convenient for my purpose of visiting my son nearby. Would stay again but would book lower floor at back of hotel.
Pros:

Convenient to where I wanted to be. Bed comfortable and good bathroom. Friendly staff.

Cons:

No lift. 3 flights of stairs to my small room at the front. Bit of traffic noise at night. I’m elderly with bad knees and it was difficult to manage the stairs. I should have realised this when booking. Bar not open as private function. Didn’t have breakfast as not included.

Pros:

😄 people lovely, professional . Close walking to shops, bars etc. Parking ok. Clean and tidy

Cons:

Too many stairs to the room for us both. The pillows in the room were very flat and no support. Also the room was a bit clostraphobic as we couldn't see out the windows, the room was very hot and quite small. Would probably go for room 1 closer to ground floor and bring our own pillows 😄

Great stop over
Pros:

We stopped over at the Psalter hotel for a family birthday and we were very pleasantly surprised. The rooms were well appointed, modern and very clean with plenty of space. The staff on check-in and check-out were more than friendly and accommodating. Perfect for the location of the party. Although we didn't eat at the hotel, the food we saw did look fantastic!
