Pros:

The location for anything central Wakefield is perfect car park is 100 yards away and 2 minutes from train station clean and comfortable

Was reasonably priced in good location, staff helpful but very run down and not cleaned properly

Great location, close to centre and quiet

Cons:

Dirty carpets, hallways smelled, no cups/glasses in room -though they were delivered when we contacted the staff, stains on bedding, towels smelled

Very basic, expected more for £80 room only.
We were greeted by a lass who was lovely, she explained about the 3 codes you need, 1 for the gate, another for the door and another for your door (very ott) , first impressions, the place needs a proper clean, the carpet on the stairs hasn't seen a vacuum in a while. The room.. Bedding clean but creased and unironed, carpet last seen a vacuum when the stairs did, no bin to put any rubbish, towels looked clean but smelt fusty, one positive bed was comfy.

I liked the room. As soon as I booked it, I received a text from them asking for my expected time of arrival and instructions on how to enter.

Cons:

The various key codes needed to get in, but that's just a necessity.

Really nice place. Would stay again.
Pros:

Really nice room. Great size. Clean and attractive. Very comfortable. Central.

Cons:

Bathmat needed! So many codes to get in after 10pm is stress-inducing. Bathroom door hanging, insecure and no way of locking. Heating not controllable.

Comfy bed and good for one night only
Pros:

Big spacious room and very comfy bed, easy to get into central Wakefield and they were very informative ahead of our stay.

Cons:

They may have been short staffed but unfortunately when we arrived there was no toilet roll, towels or available bin in the toilet or bedroom. They were quick to resolve the issues. Unfortunately, both bathroom and bedroom had clearly not been thoroughly - the wardrobe was sticky, and there was obvious dirt/ dust.

Good place to stay
Pros:

Very comfortable, lovely staff, big tv, big openable windows. Very close to Wakefield Westgate station(4-5 minutes walk)

Cons:

you can’t regulate the temperature after the staff left around ten in the evening and please put some spoon, forks in the room. Sheets seemed messy but smelt fresh, so probably just wasn’t ironed. Overall good

A convenient stopover in a beautifully tiled heritage pub
Pros:

This is a heritage pub with newly designed, comfortable rooms close to the Station and a short walk to the centre of Wakefield. Helpful & friendly staff.

Cons:

Complicated entry codes everywhere and windows difficult to open & close but considering it is on a main road it was really quite quiet on a Tuesday night.

Not up to standard
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful

Cons:

On arrival I was given 4 different codes to access the building and Room. The atmosphere was generally one of the place being run down and mismanaged. The room was above a pub which was depressing. The stairs leading to the room hadn’t been cleaned . The bed linen was clean but unironed. One bath towel was provided initially , later topped up at my request but still no bath floor mat. There is nowhere in the bathroom to put toothbrushes etc. no water glass
