The Bala Bay Inn

Went for a concert
Location was great however zero AC and no fridge in room and no place to put your close
Felt like we were camping , not at a hotel
Staff was friendly.. but would never stay there again

We had a great one night stay - in Bala for a concert at The Kee. Rooms are not generally air conditioned but we lucked out with one. Clean and well taken care of. Would definitely stay again but would insist on an air conditioner!

Costly for a bed for a night.

This is an excellent place to stay when we attend concerts at the Kee to Bala. It's fun and a relaxed fun environment within walking distance. The staff is always amazing when we come.

The structure of the building is off kilter, and the rooms feel like your on a ship, as it’s so slanted, and it throws off your equilibrium and if you suffer vertigo issues, might cause problems. The bed slanted as the whole floor is, so we tried sleeping where the opposite way at our feet end, otherwise we would have been slanted in an uncomfortable position. There were tiny ants in the bathroom everywhere and a hole in the floor!

It was the off season so it was very quiet. Room was clean and a nice size.

Our room was clean. It wax only a bed, 2 night stands, a tv & bathroom. No closet or dresser
Our floor slanted downwards from the window. The bathtub was not level - the water did not drain.
There was nobody at the desk when we checked out.
