Pros:

We had a very warm welcome from the receptionist Tony, we could ask him everything and helped to make the stay as comfortable as possible.

Pros:

La ubicación, en plena naturaleza, unas vistas increíbles.
El personal fue amable con nostros en todo momento.

Cons:

La cama muy dura y de muelles y las almohadas muy finas.
Se nota que el hotel esta un poco dejado, le falta mantenimiento.

Hotel has to be upgraded and modernised as it has the infrastructure and the location
Pros:

Continental breakfast & good dinner with abordable prices and private balcony.

Cons:

Old room furnitures, old bathroom, uncomfortable beds, very very soft and cold area for the dinner, absolutely not charming! Unfortunately it was raining and we hear the wind blowing inside 😞.

Pros:

Hotel location in the middle of the woods, far from civilisation, close to hiking trails and nice nature.

Cons:

Doors to the balcony could be tight, not drafty as they were. More light in the room, especially above the table. Plates for breakfast could be warmed, because all the food becomes cold in an instant.
A softer bed and a bit more maintenance would make this place much better.

VIEW, VIEW, AND VIEW!
Pros:

We chose this hotel for its incredible view. It was absolutely worth it, the surroundings, the view from the restaurant, and the balcony in our room are all breathtaking. The room has everything you need: a comfortable bed, a private bathroom, and a kettle. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is simple, but tasty and filling.

Cons:

Behind the toilet it was very dirty. After showering, when the steam condensed, a brown puddle formed around the toilet.
Unfortunately, the coffee at breakfast was only instant, which was a shame, especially as Madeira is known for its excellent coffee.
It would also have been nice if some fruit or fresh vegetables had been served on breakfast, even something simple like cucumber or tomato.
