Strong air con, nice duvet, good balcony, close to the harbour.
When we checked in we couldn’t believe the state of the place. I’ve attached pictures to show this. After 4 months of travelling Asia, we have never stayed in such dirty conditions. The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. There were blood splatters all over the walls which was very unsettling. The bathroom had accumulated so much limescale which just shows that it hadn’t been properly cleaned in years. There was loads of chewing gum stuck underneath the shelf which you can see when you’re lying in bed. Absolutely vile. The staff were always asleep behind the front desk. The pool looked very badly maintained as it was so cloudy. On the 2nd night there was absolutely no WiFi. To echo other reviews, the hotel is right next to a mosque so at 4:30am on both mornings we were woken up to the sound of the call to prayer through a megaphone. We expected this as we had seen the reviews, but we didn’t expect every other disadvantage we were met with.
Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere because this place is absolutely disgusting and you can find so much better elsewhere on the island.
I really enjoyed my stay here. Could have loved to stay longer but they were already booked for Christmas. Friendly staff and the pool is a huge plus with these kinds of budget stays. When i come back to giliT this will be my first choice IF they are available to book 😅. Btw I loved every call to prayer from the mosque and was always looking forward to it... Yeah, the mosque is close but you can accept it or not, up to You.
You can't choose who stays with you in the same hotel, that's always part of the experience I guess. Some guests just don't have any respect towards others. No discredit to Seaside hotel here, they were great, just some quests being "kings"

La salle de bain est un peu vétuste et douche dans le wc.

Die Zimmer sind relativ sauber und das Personal ist sehr engagiert und super nett. Am letzten Abend meines zweiwöchigen Aufenthalts habe ich sie alle ins Restaurant eingeladen.
Die schlechte Bewertung bezieht sich auf den Eigentümer des Hotels. Dieser zahlt der Personal nur ungefähr 100€ im Monat und sie müssen 7 Tage die Woche arbeiten, bei nur 4 freien Tagen in Monat.

Rooms were old and tired and there was rubbish under the bed
The place was clean and comfortable, with a lovely pool to relax in. It’s really well located on the island, close to everything. You can also rent a bicycle, which is super convenient. I really enjoyed my stay!

Leider recht viele Mücken im Zimmer durch Spalt in der Tür und lückenhaftes Fenster im Bad.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly and polite. Every day they were cleaning around.The accommodation was excellent with air-conditioning and hot shower. The bed was very comfortable.The swimming pool was lovely and clean and refreshing The accommodation is within walking distances to the beach and restaurants and shops and cafes and bars
