The property and staff were great.
We didn’t have any hot water for two nights in a row. So when we returned late in the evening to shower and go to bed, we either couldn’t shower because there was no hot water or one of us took a cold shower. We were told to leave the hot water running for 15 minutes but we had already done that on both evenings. Still no hot water.
Hotel définitivement fermé
The guy at the desk was nice. Really tried.
Its called the N20 Inn Hotel, NOT the Dutch tulip. Apparently the name changed but they are still selling on booking.com as Dutch tulip ???
The mattress needs to be replaced yesterday. You can feel all the coils and if you get close to the edge, it collapses and you'll fall. (No I'm not a heavy person: 165 lb.)
We was booked in for 3 nights we stayed 1 night there was a train tack outside there was people's talk outside the bedroom windows for hours well the breakfasts was not good at all we at to book something else to stay for 2 nights at cost of 300 euro
Freshly painted, helpful friendly staff, good value. The attached restaurant was friendly & good food.
Well…. It’s not called The Dutch Tulip Hotel!! It closed a couple years ago.
The hotel reopened recently as the N20 Inn, but Booking.com not aware?
Our two bedroom bungalow was out back in a sketchy parking lot, still painting the outside. The inside was new & lovely.
There was no free breakfast included as described in our booking confirmation. But that’s ok.
The breakfast was appalling for what we paid
The breakfast appalling
It was clean. No rugs or carpet to soften movement sounds in bedroom. Room was large and comfortable. We struggled to find plugs, but I had brought an extension cord and could plug into the outlet behind the bed.
Good clean friendly, food was very good only small criticism reception not always staffed.
On the whole I would recommend
Hotel is 600m from the Train Station. Walk across the parking lot and cross the road to the hotel. BTW hotel is now called the "M20 Inn," but located at the Dutch Tulip Bar & Restaurant. New management. Great value for budget travelers.
Showerhead in Rm102 needs replacement. Slow draining shower pan. The restaurant staff is new and undergoing training. There are no instructions in rooms to advise guests about amenities, restaurant hours, etc. That is also just a change of management event that I'm sure will be corrected in time. Overall an ok budget hotel.
Checkin was very easy bar and restaurant staff on the night we checked in were lovely and couldn’t do enough.
Walls paper thin!! I was there with my young teenage girls who woke to the sound of the couple next door having sex several times. The couple are quite entitled to do however they may as well have been in the room something should be done to sound proof the walls I was across the hall and down and I also woke to the sound and thought they were actually in the hall way.
The breakfast was a joke a plate of ham, a plate of cucumber and a plate of easy single type cheese…. Bread to toast yourself female staff member avoided me when i came in then said breakfast was over at 09:52 (if you wanted the eggs which was the only other food they had)
Great value Great location Within walking distance of town
Perfect for what we needed. Cheap accomodation on route of our tour of Ireland. You get what you pay for. Rooms were good, clean and beds good. Hot water clean sheets and towels.
It's not a 5* hotel but adequate for the price. Breakfast was included...... continental style with the addition of fried or scrambled eggs. Better than nothing and whilst staff do not have English/Irish as first language they help as much as they can.
Dinner was lovely restaurant staff were lovely
Cleanliness of the rooms is by far the worst I’ve ever seen! The doors and windows are paper thin every single noise can be heard from outside and in the hallways. Reception staff quite rude more interested in chatting other people. Keys thrown at us and Goodluck. Terrible terrible conditions how you can call yourself a hotel is beyond me.
Good location
