Location, staff, food
The room, the pool, the spa, the buffet, the restaurant, the lobby bar, the location, the staff. Honestly, I was very happy with everything.
I did not like the casino, it was small and closed in and had no women. But, I didn't come for the casino so I just left and didn't go back. Also, from the hotel, you forget the casino is there - it's in the back and downstairs - so not an issue.
Also, when we were leaving, we asked the concierge to help us call a taxi and they told us there were plenty at street level, so we had to walk down with our suitcases. I would have preferred if they had a way to call a taxi up to the entrance since we had our suitcases.

Het zou handig zijn als ze een beschrijving op papier hebben van de omgeving en wat te doen. En een beschrijving vd faciliteiten in het hotel, dit is wel op internet beschrijving en op de tv. Hotel is 5 sterren waardig.

The room was a very suitable size and I was able to relax well, which was the main reason for my stay. The bathroom was great, it had all the amenities that I needed. Wifi was very good and I was able to catch up with family very easily via video calls.
There was rubbish and dirt under the wardrobe area, the balcony was dirty and didn't look as though it had been cleaned ever. The view from my balcony was of a building site which I could also hear until very late. When I checked in I asked if dinner was still available and I was told by Ajay that it wasn't, so when I ordered room service and then got told that the buffet was still on, but by that point it was a bit late and I just wanted food and then get into bed. The TV in the room kept coming up with a message to update it, and when I mentioned it to reception someone came up, but didn't do anything about it.
I like balcony and bathroom
Staff are very amateur; I guess they came directly from college without any experience. Very bad service. If you open the balcony door, mosquitoes will eat you alive.
Breakfast services were good and location was good.
Subject: Urgent concern about flooding and sanitation at the hotel entrance
Dear Novotel Goa Panjim,
I am writing to report a serious issue we encountered during our stay on [02 Jan 2026].
After a smooth check-in and settling into our room, we went out for a quick dinner. Upon returning, our taxi dropped us on the street directly in front of the hotel. To our surprise, the entire drop-off/pick-up area was heavily flooded with what appeared to be sewer/drainage water.
This created an unsanitary and unsafe situation. We had no choice but to step through the water to reach the entrance, and our shoes were soaked; we ultimately had to discard them. This experience was distressing and far below expected standards for safety and hygiene.
We request:
• An explanation of the incident and immediate measures taken to address the flooding and sanitation.
• Assurance that proper drainage, cleaning, and preventive maintenance are in place to avoid recurrence.
• Appropriate compensation for the damaged shoes and the inconvenience caused.
Please let us know the next steps and whom to contact for resolution. We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.
