Monte Da Moita Nova

De accomodatie was niet voorbereid op mijn komst, er was niemand aanwezig. Telefonisch en per e-mail onbereikbaar, uiteindelijk kwam er een medewerker en zij heeft een huisje in orde gemaakt. Later sprong er een zekering (geen stroom en water) die pas de volgende dag kon worden verholpen omdat er niemand aanwezig was om hem terug te zetten. Het huisje en de omgeving zijn verder prima.

It was an amazing location, very beautiful and within a few minutes walk if a stunning beach and coastline. Lovely staff, friendly and exceptionally helpful. The surrounding area was very rural in easy walking distance of village facilities with bars, restaurants, shops and a market.

Wir hatten die Suite FAROL. Das Bett war besonders niedrig - es war schwer aus diesem Bett rauszukommen. Die Matratzen waren besonders hart und für uns unbequem. Frühstück gab es bei uns Anfang Oktober erst ab 09 Uhr - es war relativ einfach.
Die Umgebung war einfach nur herrlich.

El lugar, en plena naturaleza, , para quienes busquen relax y desconexión, con la playa de Cavaleiro a unos minutos andando.
Es un lugar para buscar desconexión, porque cerca solo tiene un pueblo pequeño ,con una tienda, un bar y poco más.
El desayuno que sirven es muy bueno; panes muy ricos, cafés de Nespresso hostelería, zumos, mermeladas, fruta, bollería, tiene un poco de todo.

O Monte da Moita Nova é o refúgio perfeito para uma escapadinha na Costa Alentejana. Chegámos de noite e, antes da nossa chegada, recebemos informações detalhadas da parte do anfitrião sobre o check-in, sobre a nossa casa e sobre o Monte. A casa tem tudo o que é preciso para a estadia. A cozinha tem todo o tipo de equipamentos ao dispor. Vê-se e sente-se que tudo foi pensado ao pormenor para proporcionar uma estadia confortável a quem fica no Monte. A decoração é calorosa, numa mistura entre o rústico e o moderno, sem esquecer a tradição alentejana. A Kamal recebeu-nos na primeira manhã com muita simpatia e explicou-nos tudo sobre o Monte. Esteve sempre disponível para ajudar em qualquer coisa que precisássemos até ao final da nossa estadia. O pequeno-almoço é muito bom, variado e preparado com atenção. Tomámos o pequeno-almoço ao ar livre, numa pequena mesa à entrada da nossa casa – uma verdadeira maravilha! O espaço do Monte é muito agradável e bem mantido. Há espaço para crianças e animais brincarem. A localização é acessível de carro e permite visitar várias praias da zona. Ao mesmo tempo, estamos no meio da natureza, com uma vista privilegiada do céu estrelado. O Monte da Moita Nova foi tudo o que precisávamos para recuperar energias e relaxar. De certeza que vamos voltar!

Monte da Moita Nova is the perfect retreat for a getaway on the Alentejo coast. We arrived at night and, before our arrival, we received detailed information from the host about check-in, our house and Monte. The house has everything you need for your stay. The kitchen has all kinds of equipment at your disposal. You can see and feel that everything has been thought out in detail to provide a comfortable stay for those staying at Monte. The decor is warm, a mix of rustic and modern, without forgetting the Alentejo tradition. Kamal welcomed us on the first morning with great friendliness and explained everything about Monte to us.

It's a country cottage near the sea. And you can hear the waves. It's relaxing.

We booked this Quinta while we was on a fishermans trail with our little son a and wanted 3days off. It was the best decision, we would stay here much longer. This farm is near to the lighthouse, just next to the fishermans trail. You are staying just next to horse boxes. They have really nice dog and cat. We didnt use the swimming pool but it looks also really nice.
They serve such a good breakfast from local food, cheese, fruit marmelade, fresh warm bread. At the reception you can buy local products including wine, beer, yougurts, cheese, marmelade or soap.
It was the best accommodation we had during our stay in Portugal.
