It was great.
Pros:

I liked the breakfast, it was good. Would have liked gravy for the biscuit. Location is great, easy to get to and close to several things.

Pros:

I liked the design of the hotel, it was very cute and comfortable. It was extremely clean, down to the smallest detail, such as the cords to the lamps being braided, I thought that was cute. The shower was very nice, and I liked the nice wood floors that felt cleaner than most hotels I’ve been to. I also liked the amenities like the wireless charger and adjustable light switches. Also the staff I interacted with was extremely friendly and helpful.

Cons:

I mean, really nothing. One of the light switches was broken, but that’s really not a big deal. I am not a huge fan of Kansas City but staying at that hotel was very nice. In fact, I likes the Kansas City location so much that I decided to book another Tru hotel room at my next stop in Lexington, however that location was oddly noticeably less nice in comparison. The quality of the room was worse; less clean, things were broken/damaged, didn’t have the same amenities such as the wireless charger or adjustable lights, down to the staff being a little rude. It was very odd, just generally lower in quality than my stay in Kansas City.

Pros:

Booked at the last minute and staff was very professional and helpful. Wish there had been a coffee pot in the room or that breakfast had started just a bit earlier since I caught the shuttle to the airport at 6am. Bed was super comfy!!
