Pros:

The staff were all excellent, most helpful and professional. The hotel itself was wonderful, beautifully decorated with a great atmosphere. The location is excellent within the Epping Forest with a town close by.

Lovely room and setting

The rooms were comfortable, welcoming and thoughtful ly decorated

Cons:

There is no lift to the second floor and no help seemed to be available to assist with carrying bags to the rooms. I'm ok to walk stairs but even with my tiny suitcase it was quite a stretch and not the best start to my stay. As I say, I was surprised under the circumstances that there was no offer to help from staff.

I also think that it's nice to have a warm friendly greeting when arriving at a hotel. The person who checked me in was not unfriendly or unprofessional but just a tad uncommunicative. Good customer service goes a long way to creating a positive impression.

Totally took me by surprise on the atmosphere and help of the staff. Truly exceptional place to stay
Pros:

Very easy to find with plenty of parking area. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating.
Room was very comfortable and pleasantly decorated.

Food was outstanding with one of the best breakfast I've had,
