From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. All bookings are subject to an additional MYR 2 Heritage Charge per room per day. We absolutely loved the heritage charm of Baba House—it beautifully reflects the Peranakan culture while still feeling modern and comfortable. The interiors were thoughtfully designed, very Instagram-worthy, and the overall ambiance was peaceful and relaxing. The location is perfect, just a short walk to Jonker Street and other attractions. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating, which made our stay even more pleasant.

Le style architectural de l'hotel est magnifique, autant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur avec ses cours intérieurs, ses bassins, puits de lumières, carrelage magnifique! Les bains de soleil pieds dans un carré de piscine étaient très agréable et suffisant pour 1h30 de détente et jeux avec les enfants.

Chambre peu lumineuse, la fenêtre donnait sur une petite cours intérieure.

Relaxing and Fun Stay at Baba House Melaka
Pros:

Baba House melaka is excellently located very close to the Dutch Square and the Jonker walk which makes it an ideal spot for tourists to hop in and out of all the tourist locations. The hotel has a fantastic vibe with their wonderfully friendly staff, cultural decor and ambience.
